The day was a bit long, but it was worth it. Could have spent more time at the castle.

Wonderful scenery and Lake Barrine very pretty. I thought the Spanish Castle absolutely ghastly, although grounds were nice, and should have preferred to have left that out as it was a long day.

This was the last choice of trips that we made in Cairns. The guide was fantastic and made the day an enjoyable and interesting experience. We even saw a tree kangaroo in the wild. A real contrast to the other trips and an insight into part of the region that we were unaware of.

This tour was absolutely random. There were a lot of really quick stop that you had to rush through. Lunch was terrible. The Spanish castle isn't really a castle. It's a property some guy built in the 30's or 40's for his wife. It was absolutely pretty, but not a castle. The tour guide was nice but overall, it was bad. I suggest you take a different tour if you want to see the tablelands.
