I really enjoyed this tour! There are 4 Ziplines included in this tour in which although they are not long in length, it is very exiting to zipline from one platform to the other. I'm alittle afraid of heights; however, I personally enjoyed this experience. The ziplines are located in the Rainforest which are beautiful to see! Small groups of 8 which allow you personal time with the instructors. You are "tied off" with 3 lanyards during the entire adventure so safety in this package is well practiced! Our group included ages from 10 (kids) to 60 (mature adults) average. We all had a great time and laughed alot and this package is for ALL AGES! Also - Great views of the ocean front on the drive from the city to the Daintree location!
Definitely worth doing! My husband, 8 year old son, brother, sister, two friends, and I all had a blast. However lots of driving involved so be prepared for that.
This was a short zipline, not as fast as others that I have done, but the company was good. Got to go upside down, and the nature walks on the way to Daintree was very educational. Great to see some of the animals outside of a sanctuary.
Long day but totally worth it - definitely do the jungle surf zipling - such fun to be literally in the rainforest! Our driver added lots of humor and interesting knowledge - great!
This is definitely a worthwhile day out. The Daintree Rainforest is lovely and the day was packed with things to do and see, besides the zipline, such as a river cruise and visits to an ice cream factory and wildlife centre. The Jungle Surfers' zipline safety standards were excellent. Our bus driver and guide, Nick, was a wealth of information and really made our trip a most informative, pleasant and worthwhile experience.
The zip lining was fun but a little slow when you are with such a big group. It takes a while to wait for everyone to get to one side to another. There are 5 different ones you go on. there is a lot of waiting around. The Wildlife Habitat was great!!
The "kids" (17 and 15) had fun and would do it again.... not so much for me as I did not accompany them which resulted in 2 hours spent arranging liability waivers (someone forgot to provide any to the bus driver). Even then I was told it was "against policy" to have unaccompanied minors on the tour. Frustrating as I booked it that way. Not a viator issue so much and the 1st time I've experienced any such frustration and complication (I use viator regularly).
Honestly, it wasn't that fun. First of all, it was SLOW. I went up with 3 guides and about a dozen other people. You will wait a good 5 minutes then zipline for 30 seconds to 1 minute then wait a good 5-10 minutes. The views are OK, mostly just trees, there's one spot where you get a nice view over the bay. The zipline itself is slow. The distances are not very far.
