I loved everything about this trip !! The staff were absolutely fabulous and made sure every passenger was safe and happy, Lunch was yummy. Only thing wrong was that there were no showers on the pontoon but other than that, would definitely recommend this day out !! 9 out of 10 stars !!!
A diversity of the crew in nationality and languages spoken was impressive.
Picture souvenirs were a bit pricey! Reasonable cost for lycra/wet suit rental!
A variety of food selection of different nationality tourists was excellent!
Everyone was very professional and the events were well organized. Had a good experience!
I thought the trip was excellent! The crew was very knowledgeable and made the experience fun and informative. I WOULD Definitely recommend this trip to anyone.
Beyond words. The day was overcast but the reef was clear, warm. I took the guided snorkeling tour and the guide took us to the best spots to see the most amazing part of the reef. Incredible!
All you would expect! Buffet lunch was top class, but it paid to be in the first wave of diners.
This tour was the highlight of our trip! It was truly magical swimming among the fish and seeing the coral.
The ride out was a bit long but worth it.
Done this trip before and it is amazing. Could not do it this time because of weather conditions

It was a wonderful experience! We joined the guided snorkelling tour. The guide was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. My daughter is still excited every time she talked about the coral and sea animals she saw that day.
Very well set up and the crew was excellent. Reef area was not as impressive as some of the other areas I have been to but nice. Good trip
Exactly as described - everything went well and we got to see the barrier reef a couple of different ways. Between the glass bottom and submersible, we thought the glass bottom was more worth our time - but both were great for my husband and son who aren't so crazy about being IN the water. All in all everything is run well, they have all the necessary gear at the ready, including life jackets, fins and snorkel gear for all. My husband was very excited to get underwater with the 'sea-walker' experience he's a non-swimmer, this is an extra-cost activity I was happy to swim and swim in the portion of the coral reef that they had roped us for us as 'safe'. The food: nothing to write home about, but decent and with several options - no need to starve, although I highly suggest bringing along a snack for AFTER your activities or pay for their poor snack selection
A suggestion for the tour folks: help the freaked out people out a bit - explain that they should get a life jackel and a snorkel ONLY until they are used to the water, and THEN maybe add on the fins.
The only negative is that they do everything imaginable to get extra money out of you - from over-priced photography to pushing non-essential gear, and more.
Overall a great day out on the water for us!
Very professional organised activity. Safe and enjoyable.Worth to pay ad play
The wind was a bit strong when we went out so the boat ride was a bit rough at times but the crew were very efficient and accommodating.
Wish we could have been in Cairnes longer, but we did have one problem with this trip that truly should be noted. My husband and I signed up for the hard hat underwater experience. We were never told ther could be medical conditions of this trip, and when he filled out blood pressure they would not let him go. They said if he had note from his doctor it would have been OK. We would have like to have known in advance.
Again the weather was gorgeous and the ride out to the reef just beautiful. Had a great time. The food was very good and there was plenty. Also, the staff kept the line moving and didn't allow people to cut in.
The trip was good. The scruba equipment was outdated and could use an update. The pictures taken were hard to see so I didn't bother to try very hard to fine ours.
We were told to arrive at the ferry terminal for departure for no later than 09.30 but we did not leave until 10.50 so spent about an hour and a Half just waiting around. The boat seemed full to capacity and we felt lucky to have got seats on the entry level. Once on board staff were very pushy selling add on tours such as helicopter rides and dives, neither of which we wanted to buy so were just ignored from then on by staff. When we got to the mooring, we decided to eat the buffet lunch that was provided before snorkeling. The food was disappointing. Asian travelers seem to be catered for over western travelers and lunch consisted largely of curry, rice and naan bread. There was a few salads available but they contained fish, which, again, we don't eat. We were advised that we should leave our belongings where we sat on the way out and they would be safe, we returned to our table with the limited food (bread and butter) we had selected from the buffet to fine another couple, not only sat at our table but on our expensive belongings!!! We asked them to move as they were sat on our things and they simply budged over and sat on more of our things. We spoke to staff who suggested to leave them to it and find somewhere else to sit. We found this appalling advice and joined them at our table to make sure no damage was caused to our things. The female then spat out a load of food into a communal dining bowl making us all feel physically sick and not even able to eat the bread. We believe staff should make it clear that either you take your belongings with them or be clear and tell customers they must only sit at their own table.
We enjoyed the snorkeling in the Barrier reef but there was not enough equipment available, people were having to wait for the use of snorkels and flippers. Again, if fewer people were on the tour, it would not have been so bad.
We found the staff quite useless, there was a very very loud family sat next to us whose children were out of control, screaming, shouting and standing on the table, and were never once asked by staff to quiet down, it was obvious that they were causing annoyance to other guests and the grandma of the family had clearly soiled herself (it was very obvious) but was left to sit, in her soiled white leggings, on what ever chair she chose, and she chose multiple chairs to sit on! But we were questioned on how dry we were and had to show we were wearing underwear and not wet swim-ware in order to be let back on the boat as we had wet hair!
If there were not as many people booked on to the trip and other peoples selfish and rude behavior would of been dealt with by staff, this trip would of scored more stars.
We did the seawall. As I am short it was somewhat scarey that they pushed me down - I could not touch the walk floor as I was short AND the water came up to my neck and they slammed down the helmet on my head - If you are not short, it would be much better however, I did not realize that the water would be so high in the helmet. It would be great if there was a stool or something for short people to stand on. Also, they bended your head to get the helmet on and then said it was our fault as we bent our necks as that was why there was so much water in the helmet. The helmet weight about 40 lbs and they hoisted it on your head by a pulley. The ad says that your hair doesn't get wet however, that is not 100 percent correct.
