Guide was excellent! very friendly and fun, good photographer and knew the best spots. Pyramids were amazing! If you want to go up inside the great pyramid you have to pay an extra 200EGP when you get there. There is also the option to have a camel ride again for an additional fee. The bazaar is a good place to get your souvenirs be ready for every shop owner to approach you and tell you they have what you want! Make sure you haggle.
Our Tour Guide was great, friendly and very knowledgeable would highly recommend him and this tour.
This tour was great. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and nice. Important to mention that Cairo feels stable and under control if you are a tourist. Just think of going with a well organize company like this one.
Our guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable and flexible. Be ready to possibly be picked up by someone who does not speak English, which was okay with us, but could be a concern to others. Additionally, the pyramids are about 30 min away from the museum so you are also in for a rough transit on the Cairo freeways between the two locations (this applies regardless of which company you use, the Cairo streets and freeways are full of insane drivers). This was freaking amazing and I have waited the vast majority of my adult life for this trip and this tour helped me achieve this dream to perfection. Make sure you pay to go inside one of the pyramids (40 or 200 LE depending on pyramid - we did second pyramid for 40 LE and it was great!) and the mummy rooms at the museum (100 LE) - well worth the price! Enjoy!
Our Egyptologist Khaled Lotfy did a remarkable job of taking us on this tour. Khaled was more like a blend between Indiana Jones and the Godfather. He was very adventurous and everyone respected him. The tour was amazing.
The tour was amazing! our Guide was very well spoken and gave us excellent information about every place we visited, definitely would recommend it to all my friends.
I assume that if you are going to Egypt, you like or are at least interested in learning more about the history and culture. Well, in order to make the most of your time and really learn as much as you can, you've got to have a guide. It's REALLY worth it! I loved my day and even made a new friend. The museum for me was the most exciting bit and the amount of knowledge my guide had just blew me away!!
Nice day. Memorable trip. Great, great guide!!

Great tour, our guide was really knowledgeable about Egyptian history, he spoke very good Spanish, gave us tips about dealing with vendors, took us to nice shops (papyrus, cotton). We enjoyed every minute of this trip, highly recommended.
Excellent tour! Americans should feel very safe traveling to Cairo.
We were pleased with our Viator tour in Cairo. We were met by a "meet and greet" representative who helped us through the VISA process and immigration. On our way to the Giza pyramids he switched with our Egyptologist guide, who had an extensive knowledge of the pyramids and architecture of other buildings in the area. He also was extremely knowledgeable about the exhibits in the Egyptian museum. Both of these guides had good English. Our driver negotiated the horrendous Cairo traffic without incident! Our only disappointment was the remnants of a sand storm made for less than ideal photographic opportunities!
The guide and driver where both very professional and where great. very happy and will select viatour again.

Awesome! Aladdin our guide was a encyclopaedia of information. He explained so much to us not only about what we were seeing but about the culture and life of Egyptians. He was very easy to understand. We had a fantastic day.
The tour was absolutely wonderful. We visited the most famous tourist sites and a few shops when you can buy traditional essential oil and papyrus. The tour guide was very understandable and very wise, he could answer all my questions and I learn a lot from him about egyptian history. He also gave me advices about dealing with street vendors around the city and the pyramids.
The private touur is the way to go. Hasan was a most knowledgeable guide, especially at the Egyptian Museum. He knew a great place to get the cartouche my wife wanted. A totally enjoyable day with door-to-door service that eliminated all our worries.
Mahmoud Ahmed is a wonderful guide, he was knowledgeable about everything we visited (including the unique pieces in the museum, which is impressive) and I had an excellent experience! He was very proper, important because I travel as a single female, and I will ask for him on my next Viator trip!
Our guide was fantastic, and I would love to have done more tours with him. The pyramids were a great site to see, but the awe wore off after about 10 minutes. The Museum was amazing, tuts mask was better than I had imagined possible. I was tired of being harassed to ride a camel though.
Superbly organised, our driver was waiting for us at the airport and the tour began right away. Our guide was informative, amusing and completely willing to adapt the trip to suit us. Highly recommended.
My tour guide (cannot remember his name) was excellent and explained everything so well. Also, after he realized I was not trying to buy anything so he made all the sellers at the pyramids go away, which was nice. He also informed me of all of their tactics so that I would not fall into the sales traps (them trying to put things in your hands so that you have to buy). Great experience and a must see.
The tour was excellent!! We had a great time and the guide was fantastic and a wealth of knowledge. We especially enjoyed the flexibility in spending as much time or less at the different sites. We added a camel ride which was an amazing exprience.
I went on this tour alone and my guide and my driver were amazing. They let me change the itinerary so that it suited me inlcuding more time at the Museum and less at the Bazaar. When I told them I was interested in politics they took me to all the sites affected by the revolution and explained it all. They also taught me many Arabic words and told me the nice places to eat.
