Fantastic, our guide and Egyptologist was excellent she was very knowledgeable and a stack of fun. She even protected us from the hawkers which was a laugh. Once again the security of the private bus gave that personal touch.

Our guide was very knowledgeable. We got to ride on a camel which is worth doing. We got lunch included which was very basic and small portioned.

What a day to remember! From start to finish the tour was steeped in history and Therese our guide gave us plenty of advice about being pestered by locals which came in very useful. She was a lovely lady who had a great breadth of knowledge which she shared with us throughout. She even negotiated the rate for our camel rides. A very busy day and we were all tired at the end of it. The only disappointment was the lunch that we had booked. The venue was a bit like a school canteen with too much coming and going. The food was awful and we both had severe stomach upsets afterwards. The toilets were disgusting and you should consider changing this venue.

We were picked up at our hotel with our own personal Egyptologist and driver in our own air-conditioned van to travel to see the pyramids. We visited several ancient Egyptian sights, saw the first pyramid, and the famous Giza Pyramids and Sphinx. Excellent tour!!

My friend and I enjoyed the sites we visited. Well worth the early rise. Our guide was fun and very knowledgeable! The driver was very professional and the vehicle was both safe and comfortable. Would recommend this tour to any one going to Cairo.

My daughter and I had dreamt for years of some day visiting the pyramids. That dream seemed likely out of reach in the face of recent world turmoil. Thanks to Viator selecting an excellent tour company affiliate, our dream was fulfilled far beyond our expectations!
Our Egyptologist guide was infinitely kind and qualified. He spoke superb English and had a thorough knowledge of each of the sites we toured. He readily answered every question we had about any and every aspect of Egyptian culture, both historic and current. He even taught us many Egyptian phrases.
We opted to enter both pyramids as well as the solar boat museum. On reflection, I can't imagine having missed them! SOOOO glad we prepurchased tickets to these, as the day's allotted tickets were already sold out at each site when we arrived!
We also opted for the lunch option. Because we were so enthralled with the historic sites, we asked to delay our lunch, so our guide moved our reservations to 5pm, when the pyramid grounds were closing. The restaurant was very nice, with an authentic local flair, as well as a perfect, close-up, unobstructed view of the giant pyramid! Our guide helped us order and continued to be informative and entertaining...a very pleasant dinner companion. The meal was delicious and a perfect ending for a perfect day!
This was our second day with the same guide, and we felt like we were traveling with a trusted friend. I highly recommend the private tour.

This tour was great. I got to see everything that I wanted to see. The tour guide was very friendly and laid back. It was not in the typical rushed fashion that most tours are when you go with large tour groups. If you do not want to be rushed and, you just want a private tour and, time to take in the beauty of it all then please go with this tour.

This was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip. Our guide was VERY knowledgeable and even helped us get a camel right at the pyramids. Though not the most famous, Sakkara was our favorite!

Well informed guide and good driver. Travel across Cairo to the Pyramids is tiring for all, maybe Viator could pass this to the Egyptian authorities, not Viator's fault of course!
