Tour guide and driver were nice, but they did try to take us places shopping opportunities that were in addition to the itinerary. Many ways to see the Pyramids etc. and this one was hassle free, so I would recommend-just say no to other things offered, if you don't want them.

Memphis is a bit of a letdown, as there's not much there. But Sakkara and Giza are full of stuff to see. The private van and guide are a great asset.

It's amazing historical destination. In spite of having trouble in the midst of our trip, thanks a lot for providing us a guide 'til the end of our tour. Our tour guides are very helpful, they provide lots of information as well as security during the tour.

Definitely worth seeing and takes the stress out of organising it all yourself. Having said that, the tour leaves your wallet a lot lighter than a taxi trip to the sights will, even if it means you're not getting the history lesson. Our guide was very professional, had a sense of humour and we got to see a few extra things not mentioned in the preview. He was also aware of which camel rides to take, so as to not get ripped off with Giza tourist traps. Note that our tour actually started about 8.30am.

The tour was definitely worth doing! we're able to know the history and culture of Egypt through our guide. But he should give us more time in the giza pyramid, sphinx, etc. than taking us to this perfume & carpet stores and spending more of our time there.

Definitely worth taking a tour having a guide to go to the pyramids and surrounding areas - as just seeing them just won't be enough, you will want to hear about them too. Be wary though that they the tour guide - as well as the locals see you as a walking wallet and if you really don't want to buy perfume, papyrus, t-shirts, etc you don't have to. Also, be prepared for the sun, take lots of water and a hat. Although they say you can't take photos from inside the pyramids, for a few Egyptian pounds "tip", you can. Finally, tip the guide what you feel at the end of the day, don't be bullied into paying them more.

The guide was very informative; however, got upset many times because we took over the 10 minute allocation for looking around the pyramids. We did not have much time look at the sites, and our guide recommended NOT visiting the inside of the pyramids. And then she got pretty angry when we decided to go into a pyramid, considering we will only be there once in a lifetime. Make sure you are clear with the guide that you want to go inside before your trip commences.

This was the whole reason for my Cairo trip. Guide and driver showed up on time, the guide spoke good English but she was kind of on the lazy side. It was 40C outside and most of the time she gave us all the history inside the car, then let us go explore by ourselves. At first we thought that's the "normal" way for the tour but after a few stops we realized it wasn't!

Very well done. Our tour guide was very good. He had good English, took good care of us and had a great knowledge.

Very good guide and driver. Good car. Meal very mediocre, not worth bothering with. Drinks were extra at very inflated rates. Take your own snack and drink.

We enjoyed the personal tour. The knowledge of our guide was excellent. We would recommend it to our friends.

Worth doing - however a drink break would have been nice. Better than being with lots of people.

It was OK, but I have had better guides before.

We enjoyed our trip and found our guide very knowledgeable on the sites that we saw. We were very disappointed that additional factory visits were added without our knowledge which we didn't want at all. We did go into carpet school & were surprised when our guide insisted that they made Camel fur carpets yet the tutor said that this was not true and it was an Egyptian con. We pleaded tiredness to avoid the cartography factory & the papyrus factory - neither of which we wanted to see. On the way back from Giza the air conditioning broke down in the car which made the return to the hotel quite unpleasant particularly as our guide was obviously not happy that we were not going to these factories.
