I have to say, I expected the strip to be seedy, scruffy and not a place I'd go late at night, but the tours were pretty good. The tour of LA was OK and I enjoyed the open style trolley, our guide was OK and it allowed us to see some of the highlights of LA quickly and easily. The movie stars homes tour was great (and I say this despite not wanting to go on it). It was made by a tour guide who really knew his stuff and went out of his way to be informative and entertaining. I will use Viator again. Being able to book everything we wanted so far in advance and to know that it will happen is great.

The guide on the bus was very difficult to understand and spoke too quickly and talked quite a bit about himself.

The tour itself was good, but there was a lot of hanging around. We had to wait an hour and a half between the homes tour and the bus tour, and then it took ages to get back to the hotel. Customers should allow nearly a full day; the write-up is misleading in stating that it takes a few hours. We had a plan for the afternoon but were unable to do it because we didn't get back to the hotel until 5ish, after being picked up at 8.30am.

The first part of this tour was great. The trolley driver was a riot. He was funny and made the trip really fun. He knew a lot about Hollywood. The second part was not so good. The driver looked and sounded bored out of his mind. And then this part was really rushed and ended earlier than we had planned. I think there are better tours to take in Hollywood.
