This national monument is the site of a virgin forest of California Coast Redwood trees, among the oldest and tallest on earth. There is a 1 hour and 15 minute stop at Muir Woods where you can roam through an ancient forest of giant redwood trees and stroll the waterfront of the quaint Mediterranean-style village of Sausalito, considered the prettiest city in California. Time is allowed for browsing, shopping and photo-taking in the picturesque artist colony nestled on the northern shores of San Francisco Bay.

- Wheelchair facilities are available. However, passengers in a wheelchair can be accommodated only if they can get on and off the bus on their own and if the wheelchair is foldable. The driver is not permitted to assist handicapped persons due to insurance restrictions
- There are parking spaces in front of the tour operator's office (contact details will be on your voucher) at Fisherman's Wharf (all-day parking costs approximately $10 on weekdays and $20 on weekends)

- Buses are airconditioned and the size of the bus depends on the number of passengers booked for that particular day. There are 48, 28, 39, 47 and 50 seater vehicles
- Tour operator reserves the right to change the size of the bus to meet the proper carrying out of tours
Bookings canceled or amended 7+ calendar days in advance of the scheduled departure or commencement time will not be charged any fees; between 4 and 6 calendar days in advance of the scheduled departure or commencement time will be charged a 50% cancellation fee; within 3 calendar days of the scheduled departure or commencement time will be charged a 100% cancellation fee.
