Aquarium of the Bay is a unique educational and entertainment facility dedicated to the rich and diverse aquatic life of the San Francisco Bay and surrounding waters. The Aquarium provides a window to the Bay that focuses on its distinctive ecosystems and entertains, educates and inspires preservation of this natural resource. Walk through 300-feet of crystal clear tunnels where you are within inches of marine animals indigenous to the Bay.
Blue and Gold Fleet Bay Cruise Adventure:
Experience the thrilling history of the San Francisco Bay with Captain Nemo and his crew reliving 150 years of the celebrated San Francisco Coast. There is no better way to experience unobstructed views of sensational skylines in every direction. It's a great vantage point for snapping pictures or simply reflecting on the vast beauty of the San Francisco Bay. Along the way, visitors will be entertained with historical, fun narration and factual tid-bits.
San Francisco Sightseeing Trolley Hop:
Enjoy a 1-hour narrated tour aboard an authentic motorized cable car. Drive through San Francisco's most scenic neighborhoods such as Fisherman's Wharf, North Beach, Nob Hill, Downtown, Union Square, Chinatown and PIER 39. You may hop on or hop off at any of the following locations: Pier 39/Hard Rock Café, Ghirardelli Square and Union Square.
Blue and Gold Fleet Bay Cruise
Your PIER 39 Attraction Pass is valid for 7 days from date of issue.
Please note, when making your booking online you must enter a "travel date" - this is only required as an approximate.

Blue and Gold Fleet Bay Cruise Adventure:
Hours: Year-round frequent daily departures from 10:00am
Location: PIER 39 and Pier 41. Bay Cruises depart from and return to PIER 39
Aquarium of the Bay:
Open every day of the year (except Dec 25)
Weekday hours: 10:00am - 6:00pm, Monday through Friday
Weekend hours: 10:00am - 7:00pm, Saturday and Sunday
During the summer months Aquarium of the Bay has extended visiting hours everyday from 9:00am - 8:00pm
Location: PIER 39 adjacent to Fisherman's Wharf
The Aquarium is handicap accessible and stroller friendly
San Francisco Sightseeing Trolley Tour:
The Trolley Hop departs daily from Pier 41
The Trolley Hop's operating hours are 10:00am until 3:00pm, with departures every 30 minutes (last departure time 3:00pm)
Please note: tour does not operate on Jul 4, Thanksgiving (Nov 25) or Christmas (Dec 25) and New Year's Day (Jan 1)

- PIER 39 is located on the northernmost point of the San Francisco peninsula providing visitors with postcard views of Alcatraz, the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, the San Francisco Bay and the City skyline. Telescopes are placed along the location's perimeter road for viewing the sights. Watch for the special Kodak "Picture Spots" located throughout the PIER
