The Gulf Islands are protected from the open ocean, not far from Vancouver. The rocky reefs, lush kelp beds and protected bays are home to myriad marine invertebrates, fish, and sea mammals. The marine life here is among the most diverse in the world's temperate waters.
Seals, river otters and sea lions are often observed in the Gulf Islands, and there are rare sightings of killer whales, harbor seals and Dall's porpoise. Colonies of gulls and cormorants are scattered throughout the area, which also contains several breeding sites for bald eagles, oyster catchers and pigeon guillemots.
Qualified and knowledgeable guides will help spot the wildlife around you on your sea-kayaking adventure, and make sure your trip is safe and memorable. Note that kayaking experience or fitness are not required for this trip. The maximum number of participants on this adventure is 6.

- This tour requires a minimum number of 2 passengers to operate. There is a possibility that the tour may be canceled after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be provided the option to take the tour on an alternative date or be refunded in full.
If you cancel more than 6 calendar days in advance of the scheduled departure or commencement time, there is no cancellation fee.
If you cancel between 4 and 5 calendar days in advance of the scheduled departure or commencement time, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
If you cancel within 3 calendar days of the scheduled departure or commencement time, you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee.
