What You Can Expect

4-in-1 Tulum Adventure: Zipline, Cavern Rappel, Cave Snorkel and Skycycle

Start your adrenaline-packed tour with a fun ride on a jungle buggy to base camp, where you’ll head to the treetops and down to an amazing cenote on your 4-in-1 Tulum adventure. After you put on your swimsuit and store your belongings in a locker, your guide will provide safety instructions and teach you to rappel into the water.

Make your descent into the Takbelum cenote, a freshwater-filled limestone cave where you can take time for a refreshing swim. Afterward, put on your lifejacket and embark on an exciting ride via a splash zipline, which returns you to the water of this beautiful cavern, featured in the Imax production Journey into Amazing Caves. Your guide will be available to assist you out of the water, or you can stay longer to snorkel in the pristine waters. (See Itinerary below for snorkeling option.)

Next, head to the Zip Coaster, a unique high-speed zipline that boasts a heart-pumping ride through the treetops. If you select the Skycycle option, your guide will take you there after your zipline activity is complete. (See Itinerary below for Skycycle option.)

When you’ve changed back into dry clothes, refuel at the Jungle Café for your complimentary lunch.

Option 1: Extreme Tour
If you’ve selected the Extreme option, stay longer in the Takbelum cenote after you splash in on the zipline, and snorkel through its clear waters (snorkel equipment included). Your guide will point out the stalagmites and stalactites, as well as other underwater elements of the cenote as you explore.

Option 2: Ultimate Tour
If you’ve selected the Ultimate option, enjoy a sky-high ride on the Skycycle, a recumbent bicycle that travels across the jungle. You’ll head down into another water-filled cavern called the Church cenote, where you’ll have time to splash around in turquoise pools.

5 star rating: Highly Recommended February 2014

My friend and I found this tour online before we even headed out to Mexico and we had a fabulous time. Great staff who really went out of their way to be informative about local culture and environment and were very safety conscious. Did some crazy things like sky cycling, ziplining through canopies, splash ziplining into cenotes and even a roller coaster zipling (no, that is not a typo!!). The swim / snorkel through the cenote was fantastic - a great experience. Highly recommended. Please note this is not one of those overly commercialised, polished, white washed tours - its real, gritty, dirty, fun and raw - and that's why we loved it.

This was a great tour with four different activities. I appreciated the limited intrusion on the natural habitat. Our guide, Cheeta, was fabulous. He has a great sense of humor; has so many stories about his life adventures from training dolphins, to horses to his present position. The group is 10 or less, a nice size. We had a great group...young teens, early twenties, adults (40s and 50s). Before jumping into the water in the Cave for snorkeling I asked, "is the water very cold?". One of the young folks said, "it's like a sauna". Joke was on me and we laughed about it the whole day. Bring a rugged, water proof camera, such as a "one time use" camera. You wouldn't want to chance bringing your phone to take pics. It's a must do adventure.
