Even though this was a very long day, it was well worth it. We stopped on our way to Chichen Itza and explored a Cenote for about 30 minutes, then another stop at a handicraft store, followed by lunch (which was excellent). Then it was onto Chichen Itza. Our guide stayed with us for about an hour and a half, explaining the monuments and history of the Mayans which I found to be incredibly informative. We then had another hour and a half to explore the grounds on our own. It was the highlight of my trip.

Great experience! The lunch was delicious, though the Mayan market felt a little set up because when we got to Chichen Itza the same wares were on sale for cheaper. The bus was comfortable, especially after the heat of Chichen Itza, and the tour was very informative. I loved the stop at the cenote as well. Also I appreciated having time at the end of the tour to do some exploring on our own. I had a wonderful time!

The 5 hour round-trip travel time from Cancun is a bit wearing.

Description did not match the tour offered, drinks did not come with the lunch as stated. Too little time sent at the Chichen Itza location. Time wasted waiting to start the trip one hour and returning one and a half hours late.

The traveling time was far too long, we did not get drinks on board or the snack box lunch, just the buffet meal which was ok. The tour was good, but a bit long winded. We could have seen more area with less talk. Most of the buildings other than the main pyramid was half remaining or less, which was not great, overall you get hassled a lot and it's a very very tiring day!
