I cannot stress enough how helpful and informative our guide was, Carlos Moo is an embassador for the Mayan people and was basically like a Mexican Father while we were on the tour, we were lucky enough to get him on our Cancun Tulum and Coba tour so we already had met and that made the day much better as we walked around Chichen Itza. Carlos you are a legend!!
Ricardo was our tour guide. He was amazing! He was clear and informative. The driver was great too. And the assistant. We stopped in a Mayan city and met very nice people and got astrology charts. We toured through Chichen Itza and then we also went to a cenote and ate lunch. This was such an amazing trip. Thank you!
Would recommend to a friend. Guide was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. Tour was well organized and extremely informative for the amount of time given. The only drawback was that the cenote that was visited was crowded with mostly teenagers. Made me not want to swim in it. Otherwise great all around.
This was a great tour! They added in Valladolid and we were not expecting this - it was only a quick 20 minute stop, but greatly appreciated by all. Our tour guide, Ricardo, was funny and informative.
Really great experience. Driver and guide were very professional. Great customer service. Guide was very informative and timing was really good. Punctual pick up. Tour guide was multilingual! I was very surprised!! Good job Carlos! Viva Mexico!
Excellent guide, Carlos Mo, who provided both the historical/archeological background and contemporary context for both Chichen Itza and the cenote sites. A bit of a logistics delay going from a van to the tour bus. Nonetheless an extremely worthwhile day.
The tour was awesome! Our tour guide was awesome and very knowledgeable. The ride to Chichen Itza was great as we got to drive through a small Mexican town. The entire tour to Chichen Itza was amazing, especially swimming in the cenote...nothing like it! I would highly recommend this tour.
This was a very well planned and impeccably executed tour. Ricardo is a very experienced and talented guide, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. He especially made sure we went to the ruins in the late afternoon, so we may watch the formation of Kukulkan with the setting sun on equinox day. The day trip started with quick stop at a traditional village, a Mayan gift shop, and around afternoon we stopped at the town of Valladolid. The swim at the cenote later was refreshing, and the buffet after was yummy. Do give yourself enough time to enjoy it! The ruins were explored at a relaxed pace over the course of 1.5 to 2 hours, and then we found a comfy spot on the grass to watch the sunset. Ricardo knows this region in and out, and what I loved was that he explained so much about the Mayan history and its people during the trip. Never a dull moment!
This tour was well worth the price. Our guide was fabulous and spoke English and Spanish with equal skill. The lunch was great love the seafood and the visit to the Cenote was awesome.
I highly recommend this tour.
Can't say enough good things about this tour! The small size of the group, the excellent tour guide, the Temple, swimming in the Cenote, lunch - everything was perfect. It's a long day by necessity but they made it fun. Highly Recommend!
Chicen Itza tour led by Irvin and Luis was worth the money and more. Both of them were knowledgeable and well educated on the Itza peoples, history, and culture.
Tour guide, Carlos Moo, was fantastic! We learned much more with him around than if we had visited these places on our own. The only complaint we can think of is that the cenote visited by this tour is extremely crowded.
Good trip. The guides are pretty excited to show you everything. They go above and beyond.
Our tour guide Ricardo from eknx was amazing. Visiting Chichen Itza was a very enjoyable time. We really enjoyed the Cenote trip also. When you go swim first because it is a lot less crowded. Also food was okay, nothing to brag about. Overall an amazing trip, and would recommend to others.
Loved this tour. It lasted more than 12 hours. The guides were knowledgeable and helpful. The food stop was great. The price is reasonable and definitely worth it for all you get to experience.
This tour was outstanding and an excellent value. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience a lot of fun. His knowledge of the history of the site made it come to life. There were other stops along the way, swimming, etc. so it's an all day experience for sure. When touring the site there isn't much walking so it is a tour that is appropriate for all ages and abilities. Keep in mind that the bus ride to Chichen Itza is about 1.5 hours from the hotel zone. Even with that, our guide kept things informative and fun while allowing us to also have quiet time and little naps if we chose. It was a truly great experience and one of the highlights of my trip to Cancun.
Our tour guide, Carlos was very knowledgeable and highly entertaining throughout the journey! He spent time on the bus giving us a history of the Maya and their traditions, on site, he told us some of the greatest spots to get pictures. The lunch at the Cenote wasn't anything special, and the day was very long, but we were prepared for this and didn't mind. Lunch was rather late in the day, so make sure you eat a big breakfast! I highly recommend this trip!
the tour guide Alex was wonderful! He was very friendly and knowledgeable about his culture and country
The tour was a very long one but certainly worth it! Our guide Carlos Mo was great! He was very knowledgable and entertaining the entire trip.
The company were professional and punctual - and certainly knew how to run the show! I would highly recommend this tour.
We were picked up by a van on time, taken to a larger bus for the trip and given an opportunity to purchase snacks and use a restroom at a service station as we were in for a long day.
The tour started with a trip to a local mayan store, the staff were not overly pushy in getting you to buy things which was a nice change!. Then off to Chichen Itza for a guided tour followed by free time to explore the ruins and take photos etc.
We then went to Ik-Kil cenote. It was breathtaking! We were able to choose whether we wanted to have lunch or swim first as the lunch buffet included in this tour is located at the cenote site.
I chose to swim first, and am glad I did as after lunch the crowd down there looked very busy! So I am happy that I went in at a quieter time.
Very happy with this tour and would recommend you spend the day visiting such a wonder as Chichen Itza!
So very well organized - I am truly impressed! Our pick-up was on time from our hotel lobby, and we were transferred to a bus, which was clean and comfy. Our guide, Ricardo, is easily one of the best tour guides I have travelled with - he was very knowledgable, had amazing story-telling skills and was very witty too. We stopped at a Mayan village on our way, and a historical town on our way back, in addition to all that is promised in the tour. I don't think I could've enjoyed the visit to Chichen Itza better with any other group. Well done!
