Our tour guide was full of information about the Mayans and a couple was left behind but we went back for them and didn't leave them behind!
Jaime the tour guide was awesome. Unforgettable day, we had so much fun with my family.
The trip was amazing and everything went according to plan. I didn't have any issues and was picked up from the hotel on time. amazing time.
Great tour with fantastic guides. The cenote was a nice addition and refreshing stop before buffet lunch. Chicken Itza was spectacular. It was incredibly hot but definitely worth it.
The tour was the same tour that is offered by the hotels for much more money. There were 2 surprises on the trip. The first was the tequila tasting room at the Cenote/Restaurant. This was an added bonus to the tour that was not advertised, but much appreciated. The second was that the drinks at the lunch were NOT included. It says it on the Viator webpage that they are not included at the bottom, but in the exclusion list they are not listed. The tours were split up for English and Spanish, which made it easier to ask questions and get through the walking tour (1st hour at Chichen Itza) faster. The vendors at Chichen Itza had souvenirs and crafts far cheaper than any where in Cancun or Cozumel. We had a really great time on the tour to see one of the 7 New Wonders of the World
The tour was excellent. The best price on the internet or at the resort for sure. It is a long, hot day, but worth it for the experience of seeing one of the new 7 wonders of the world. Our tour operator was Best Day Travel or BDTravel. We were picked up In a nice air conditioned tour bus and took a long ride out to the Yucatan. Stopped at the Cenote first, Wow! what a great experience and the water was nice and cool to relieve some of the oppressive heat. Then we ate the buffet lunch. Drinks are not included, but the food was good and inside a nice restaurant with no flies on the food, like some other "tours". We spent almost two and a half hours at Chichen Itza. We first went with a guide for about an hour and then we had the rest of the time to ourselves. make sure you bring water or a couple of peso's to buy on the bus. At Chichen Itza, a 500ml bottle will cost you $6 dollars!
This was even better than we expected - the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and we spent 75 mins at Chichen Itza following and listening to the guide re the history and 75 mins free time to explore and purchase gifts from the hundreds of craft stalls. We found the cenote visit on the way to be eye opening and a great experience. Overall this was a memorable day and we'd recommend it to everyone within a 2.5 hour drive.
This place is amazing. It's like attend to a Maya civilization class.
So much more than we expected! Amazing tour guides gave us an archaeological understanding of the site and introduced us to the Mayan culture today. We recommend this to everyone!!!
The trip was stunning. The tour guides on the bus were kind, funny and helpful. The tour guide at the ruins had a pretty bad attitude, however, Viator took every action necessary throughout the day to make sure that we were happy throughout our trip. I would definitely recommend them, and use them again in the future.
great value for the cost. cenote was amazing as were pyramids. long drive, but well worth it!
Very good itinerary. Wish we could stay in Chichen Itza for at least an hour longer.
This was so worth the money ! Chichen Itza is a must go! Two things to keep in mind: first, the tour guide is constantly sharing information throughout the 2 and 1/2 hour ride; second, save your money and shop at the site and not at the shop in the first stop. Everything is much cheaper at Chichen Itza
Ruben, our tour guide, was very informative and entertaining. His sense of humor kept the tour upbeat and intriguing. If you are planning to visit Chichen Itza, I highly recommend Viator and Ruben for a great time for a great price!
