Everything about this tour was excellent. The driver, Carlos, was courteous and skillful. The tour guide, Marco Antonio, was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave the impression throughout that he was genuinely concerned that the tourists learned about Chichen Itza and the Mayan culture while enjoying the experience.
Of course, the ruins themselves are a must-see.
Frank was an excellent, knowledgeable, and humorous tour guide and Mayan archeologist. Enjoyed everything about the tour. Got in before the crowd, which was nice because we had plenty of photo opportunities. Hacienda, bus driver, was great. Got us there and back safely.
Our guide was fantastic. He was punctual, very informative and had a great attitude and sense of humor. I'm glad I chose to do the early access tour because Chichen Itza gets HOT - no exaggeration. By the time we were leaving around noon, and most other tours were just arriving, it was getting to be about 100 degrees.
Went with our 2 sons 9 and 15 and we all agreed this was the highlight of our vacation. Our guide was entertaining and obviously cares very much about the history of his culture. Doing the early tour is a must if you want to see the architecture without being harassed to buy souvenirs everywhere you turn.
Frank and Ramon were great! Frank was very knowledgeable and provided us with a great tour filled with information. He knows the ins and outs very well and showed us a lot. The tour was a little large and he did a great job explaining where we needed to be and when. I would highly recommend this tour. As a bit of advice, the bus can get hot and if you weren't hot by then, you will be once you get to Chichen Itza. I would highly recommend an evaporative cooling cloth and the standard sun-screen, hat, cool clothes and bug spray.
Our tour guide Frank and driver Ramon were excellent. I was a little skeptical about Amigo Tours because of the reviews. The tour guide was extremely informed and willing to share as much info as we wanted to learn. The drive was great to and from Our hotel. Clean/new bus. Bring/buy lunch at Itza
Marco was so knowledgeable. One of the best tours we and #39;ve been on. It is an early morning, slow start, but the tour can and #39;t be beat. The number of people arriving when we were leaving was incredible. Got the best pictures without a sea of people in them.
This tour was amazing! It and #39;s Informative, perfect time of the day, avoided the crowd and long lines, and comfortable bus. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and understanding. Bus driver is good too.
It was amazing! Fantastic service from the early morning pick up to the afternoon drop. They gave us a lunch pack when we boarded the bus in the morning and cold bottles of water when we boarded back after the tour ended in the afternoon. The guide Frank was brilliant. He was very well informed, engaging and attentive. Please wear a big hat and stay hydrated. There are medical emergency services on site if you feel ill. Highly recommend the tour.
Amazing tour, this was our second time going, and going early and having our own tour guide made this experience extraordinary! We enjoyed and LEARNED so much more!
Our tour guides Frank and Ramon were fantastic and added immeasurably to our trip. We recommend the early trip over to avoid the crowds and heat!

Going early was well worth it. Frank was our Archeologist and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He went above and beyond. Highly recommend this tour.
Excellent tour, and our guide, Frank was awesome. The group was a little large, but Frank managed to keep us all organized and I had no difficulty hearing his narrative. I highly recommend the early access option - it is VERY hot and gets really crowded later in the day. Bring sunscreen, bug repellent, a hat, and plenty of water. It's a long drive 2.5 hours from the hotel zone in Cancun and the bus a it cramped for long-legged Americans, but comfortably air conditioned.
Wholly LORD this was an AMAZING tour. Not only was the guide super knowledgeable about everything to do with Chichen Itza itself, he knew so much just on the surroundings of the park and the people that were around one of the NEW 7 wonders of the world. I HIGHLY recommend going early before the abundance of people and crowds to learn about some of the intricacies of the Mayan people and their architecture.
The tour was great. We learned a lot of things and loved the scenery. Going with an early access was definitely a plus because first of all the place gets way too hot later on and incredibly packed as well.
A great tour! It was nice to have a tour that started early and avoided the major crowds. The tour was very organized and professional. Our tour guide, Marco, was very knowledgeable about the the Mayan culture and people. It was obvious his level of knowledge was far superior to that of other tour guides based on the information and extra tidbits being shared.
My wife and I were both very happy in taking the early access tour to Chichen Itza and highly recommend this tour. We loved getting to the site before the crowd and enjoyed the slightly cooler temperature. The guide was very informative and we had an wonderful time. We will remember the experience forever!
The tour was very educational and engaging. The tour guideMarcos was very friendly and gave great information about the Mayans.
Amazing tour!!! I highly Recommend Franks and Jacinto's Tour! The tour was fun, exciting and you could just see the passion Frank Has for Chichen Itza. Please try their tour, you will not be disappointed!! Thanks Frank Y Jacinto!! - Amanda, Eli, and Josie Tour Date: 5/31/16
Awesome tour. I didn't get the pickup date/time email but they have a free number you can call. Our guide Frank did a great job providing the real background story of Maya as well as doing the Chichen Itza tour itself. The morning access is a really good idea considering the amount of people that visit this place every day as well as the temperatures you can expect over there.

This visit to Chichen Itza completed my quest to visit all the new Wonders of the World and I was not disappointed. The early access was the only way to do it in a comfortable way, beating both the crowds and the later morning heat. The organization was great, the driver safe and courteous and our guide Frank, a Mayan himself, was superb. He was fun and knowledgeable, but imparted his facts in a unique way that stuck with you. I learned a lot and this legendary Mayan site was incredible. The bus was very big, but comfortable, and when we arrived we were divided into three smaller groups and I was lucky to have Frank as the guide. We were given a packed lunch and after the visit an ice cold bottle of water was waiting - a nice touch. I was back at my hotel by 2:45 pm and after a 5:10 am pick-up that was very welcome, and allowed for some relax time by the pool! Was a great day and the highlight of my trip. Don't hesitate to book this tour run by Amigo Tours, you will not regret it!
This is a great tour, we enjoyed it a lot. It was worth getting up early, when we where finished, the crowds where coming in. We had a great guide, he gave us a lot of information.
