Early access is the way to go. You get in before it gets too crowded, can take pictures without people in the background, and leave by noon just as it gets too hot. Our archeologist guide Frank was great. We learned amazing things. My children ages 21, 18 and 11 all thought it was great!
Awesome tour! Oscar and Frank were great! Very informative. Glad we went early! Crowds are crazy after noon. I would highly recommend it.
Worth every second. The guide significantly enhanced the experience. Getting there early was key as we saw a lot before it got too hot and crowded.
This tour was amazing! The guide was extremely knowledgeable. Early access is a must in the high season. There were less people and less heat.
Freddie was an outstanding tour guide. Interesting to listen to and highly knowledgeable. Recommend this tour to all...it was amazing!
Nice tour with plenty of information in English/Spanish/Mayan languages. Freddy was the tour guide and he did a great job in explaining all the questions visitors had. Leaving early was good to beat the crowd and take nice snaps before the crowd was too much near the pyramid. Tour was well organized and worth the visit with archeologist by skipping other attractions on the way like cynote. Entire family enjoyed it including my 13 yrs old son.
Frank our guide shared so much about the Mayan culture and made it so interesting. Oscar provided a very smooth ride
Freddie and Oscar made the round trip from Cancun to Chichen Itza very comfortable. Freddie presented the facts and the non-facts in a friendly and balanced way. He was great. And Oscar quietly got on with his job of getting us safely to and from on the long bus trip. The tour at the site was made easy by Freddie's info presentation on the bus on the way. We both enjoyed the day. Highly recommend this tour as being comfortable, clean and thoughtfully presented.
Our guide Frank was great, knowledgeable and friendly. Totally recommend early access tour to avoid the crowd. Buses could be more comfortable
Freddy is a knowledgeable and funny guide, we got in early in the morning when there were few tourists so we could take very nice pictures. Freddy's explanation on the Mayan calendar and culture was good too, overall a great experience !
Very informative! Plus, it's simply a great idea to be there early when the weather is cool.
Frank was great. He was very knowledgeable and passionate. The tour was very organised. We were back at our hotel in time for a late lunch. (2.30ish). Didnt waste time having a buffet lunch. We took the freeway as opposed to other tour groups who take the long way around in order to save on tolls. Our group was small (?18). We saw groups there that were at least twice the size. Leaving early in the morning was great as we arrived at Chichen Itza before 9am and there were only a handful of people there at that hour which afforded us great photo opportunities. By the time we left at lunch time the place was swarming with tourists. The tour was well organised and it was a great experience. I would highly recommend Frank and his tour.
Very good tour, Frank very knowledgeable. Glad we went early to beat the crowds and the heat! Would recommend.
The tour was as promised. We were 4 of about 10-12 people (from about 4 hotel stops) on the tour. The early access was appreciate- had our time at the historic site before the crowds and heat turned up. Tour guide was very easy to understand and ensured there were time for questions.
