Flott park, men litt kjølig i vannet. Vi var der ikke på en veldig varm dag heller. Showet om kvelden var også verd å få med seg.

Xcaret was a lovely park, but I thought their underground lazy river was just okay. The snorkeling inlet was also a little murky and it looks a little greasy looking through our goggles. But overall the park is nice and the big show at the end was also amusing, especially the fireball game! - although the second half gotten kind of long and it seemed to have turned into a one big mariachi concert :)

This is a must see and plan for the evening show. Well worth the time spent

Xcaret is very beautiful. But beware it is quite the tourist trap. All of the restaurants close at 5pm, then you have to stay until roughly 8:30 for the night show. You only option for dinner is at the show for $40 USD per person not including drinks.

Even though I have had training in map reading and land navigation, I found it easy to get lost. Perhaps naming the trails or having more directional signposts would help. I enjoyed the underground river, the reef dive, the massage in a cave with a waterfall, a great lunch and a fabulous dinner and evening show. What didn't work well was walking back to the locker area without shoes, which were left in the locker rather than sent to the exit from the river. More or clearer information about how waterproof the bags were would have helped.
I will visit again!!

We are a family of 6 ( four children between 10-19). We loved Xcaret but had a bad experience with the tour. The tour guide spent over 40 minutes of the ride louldly and somewhate insistently trying to sell us things. such as add on tours at Xcaret, sunscreen, cameras. We felt like we were trapped in an infomercial. It was a frustrating and unpleasant experience all around. We already paid for the tour --don't like being trapped and pressured to spend more, moore , more.
