Would recommend this trip to anyone who wanted to 'get a lot done in one day' if they were on a short stay. Our guide was so informative which meant we learnt a lot about the new South Africa.
Tour guide's name was "Super",...and he was exactly that!!
Tour was good. Beautiful scenery.
Enjoyable day- value for money. Small number 8 was a bonus.Knowledgeable guide.Day well mapped out, did what it said in the tin.Enjoyed optional extras too, seal colony, penguins and good restaurant.Lots of facets to the day, lots of memories. Our second successful VIATOR tour. Thanks.

A really pleasant outing, with a very informative guide. Although the wind was really strong, it was still a great trip - what a beautiful country
Nice tour guide, wonderful way to see parts of Cape Town you may not spend time in. Absolutely beautiful scenic drive.
This was a very nice tour operated in both English and German. There are many tours from Cape Town to the Cape Peninsula. I booked this tour specifically because it included the botanical gardens, penguin colony, and the opportunity for a trip to the seal island at your own cost. This is an easy way to get outside of Cape Town and see those things. Additionally, the coastal scenery is absolutely stunning. Both the guide and the driver were very nice and quite competent. Unfortunately, there were two people who were obnoxious and complained loudly about the stop at the Botanical Gardens. When we reached Cape Point, our guide was very specific in both English and German as to the departure time, but these two and their friends then made our entire party late for lunch because they took an extra 35 minutes at Cape Point. But, you can't pick your customers!

I enjoyed this trip so much. The guide was the same from Table Mountain and Cape Town Half-Day Trip, but the group was bigger. We had a small time for lunch not included in Simon's Town and the guide had booked a restaurant a bit expensive in my opinion, but I decided to have lunch in another place.
Well worth the visit. Saw some fantastic scenery. Simonstown, Boulders Rock penguins and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens would be the highlights of the trip.
The sights were great. We did not feel rushed at all. Lunch was wonderful. The tour guide was very informative.
The tour itself was absolutely fantastic. The only problem was that after receiving a fax the previous evening on pick up time, I was not picked up and had to call to be taken out to the tour, missing the first stop.
It was good and OK.
