After checking in at the V&A Waterfront’s helipad in the late morning, board your state-of-the-art helicopter and take to the skies above Table Bay to Cape Winelands. Admire incredible aerial views as you fly along the Atlantic Coast past Green Point, Sea Point, the white beaches of Clifton, Camps Bay and the exclusive neighborhood of Llandudno. Your pilot will then veer through Constantia Nek, a low pass over the Table Mountain range, toward your destination: Constantia Uitsig Estate.

Touch down at this gorgeous Cape Winelands estate and soak up the rural beauty of the valley, where vineyard rows stretch up the mountainside. You'll be escorted to the tasting room for a wine-tasting session, during which you'll sample a variety of the winery's signature wines in a relaxed, elegant setting (own expense).

Follow your wine tastings with a lovely 3-course dinner at the Constantia Uitsig Restaurant. Housed in an original Cape Dutch homestead, the restaurant offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards, and has consistently been featured amongst the top restaurants in South Africa. Chat with your fellow travelers as you savor a wonderful spread of varied gourmet Mediterranean Provençal dishes such as vichyssoise, bouchée de moules, mushroom ravioli, slow-roasted lamb and tiramisu (sample menu below). After your meal, board your helicopter for the flight back to Cape Town. Following the Atlantic coastline again, watch for natural landmarks such as Constantia Neck, and see if you can tell Hout Bay from its glamorous Clifton neighbor.
