If you don't have a great deal of time in Costa Rica, but want to see it all, this tour is perfect. Some of the highlights of this tour include a visit to Poas Volcano, viewing the amazing waterfalls at La Paz Waterfall Gardens, taking a cruise on the Sarapiqui River amongst the local wildlife, and a drive through Braulio Carrillo National Park. All these attractions are accessible from San Jose!

Your journey begins as you drive from San Jose to enjoy an authentic cup of Costa Rican coffee, along with a delicious tropical breakfast. You'll feel a change in temperature and the lush vegetation becomes apparent, preparing you for the cloud forest of the Poas Volcano. A quick hike leads to the Botos Lagoon, where many species of flora and fauna can be observed.

Heading towards the Caribbean zone of Costa Rica, you will discover the La Paz Waterfall Gardens. A short stroll along spectacular trails takes you to Magia Blanca Falls, the largest and most impressive falls in the area, along with one of the world's largest butterfly observatories. After a break for lunch, you will discover more stunning waterfalls, including the famous La Paz.

As your journey continues, you will come across quaint towns and farmhouses before arriving at Puerto Viejo to enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the Sarapiqui River. Assisted by your informative guide, you will have the opportunity to admire monkeys, iguanas, crocodiles and a variety of birds.

Before returning to San Jose, enjoy a drive through the rainforest of Braulio Carrillo National Park, one of the most important rainforest reserves in Costa Rica.

Passengers will be picked-up from their hotel between approximately 6:00am and 7:00am, depending on the hotel location. Exact pick-up time will be provided at time of booking.

Tour returns at approximately 6:30pm
