I could not ask for anything else. I was picked up on time by my guide and driver. They were very nice people, I had an amazing time. It was pricy but since it was a dream of mine, it was worth it every penny.
Wow! Loved the tour and our picture with the panda! Had a terrific tour guide :) Lunch and the town we went to on the way back was great as well.
I made a mistake of booking at the wrong date, a day later, I got mixed up with the dates. I didn't even realized I booked the wrong date just when I was waiting for pick up and I called them to ask why they weren't there that I realized I booked it a day after. I was so nervous but with no questions asked, they immediately had someone picked us up and the tour guide was there already too. Very accommodating. I was there for one day only so I couldn't afford to miss the tour. Thanks to people of Viator my one day vacation in Chengdu was a success! Everything was perfect. The tour guide Ms. GREEN was so nice and knowledgeable. The trip was absolutely perfect. I don't think there's any other tour company comparable to the greatness of Viator tours. Highly recommended.
Wonderful tour guide, comfortable cars, safe drivers. Probably the best escorted tour I've been on. The guide was knowledgeable, helpful, went out of her way to make sure I didn't miss anything, but also gave me time to myself and quiet time in the car to relax during a longer drive. Excellent.
The breeding centre was excellent, a must do in Cheng Du. Viator's customer service was spot on and the tour guide was excellent.
It was a nice trip - very privat. So only the driver/guide and me. The price was also very low and I can really recommend it!
A most awesome experience. My picture with the Panda was worth every dime. Lilian, my tour guide was excellent. She offered to take me hiking in the park, but I didn't have hiking shoes. If you like walking, take proper shoes so you don 't miss out on this opportunity. Lunch was yummy too.
This was an excellent, well organised tour. I was picked up from my hotel by the English speaking guide. It turned out that it would be a 1 on 1 tour rather than as part of a group which I had assumed. This was excellent as it meant I was able to ask lots of questions and get more time to do exactly what I wanted. I recommend to go to the centre in early morning (to see the Pandas get their breakfast) - later in the morning they fall asleep! I also recommend going in the Winter - it is much less crowded which means you have excellent photo opportunities. I did not hold the Pandas - this was very expensive. However the rest of the tour was great value for money. At the end the guide dropped me at the hotel again, although he did offer to drop me in the city centre if I preferred which was also very nice!
Awesome attraction! The pandas were the main reason of our trip to China and we had a blast at the Panda Breeding Center. Definitely opt in for the holding, it's a once in a lifetime experience!
I had a great time on the tour. Somehow it was just me on the tour. The guide took her time to show me around and had good knowledge of the Pandas. Would recommend the tour. I decided to not do the sitting next to the baby panda thing :(
I had an absolutely wonderful time on this tour despite not opting for the optional baby panda part. Although pick up is early in the morning, it's necessary if you want to beat traffic which might not be pleasant since it takes a half hour to get there anyway. Also, getting there early means you can actually see the pandas, because they are eating breakfast and not too many people are there, meaning you get a solo picture with them. Our tour guide was very sweet and knowledgeable, and she answered all of my "creative" questions... If we hadn't gone with the guide, our time at the Center probably wouldn't have been very efficient, and we would have walked all over the place getting lost and confused. Also, we wouldn't have known about the free documentary showing in the cafe or that there was an informational museum toward the front. I thought the price for this tour was just right, and it was definitely worth it!
I was a bit sceptical at first as the wording on the webpage is not clear but I have to say WOW!!!! What a trip, our guide was exceptional and we were very lucky that the centre closed at 12 with people at breakneck pace to get out. Not us -we stayed and had the pleasure of watching 3 very silly 1 year old panda's playing for over an hour. My only criticism relates to the photo opportunity with the Panda, it was a bit chaotic and we felt rushed to take our pictures - just a little bit more time would have been wonderful but to be honest I could have sat there all day. Fab trip Many Thanks to our guide Coral especially for introducing us to "Country Wine"!
Awesome! Our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke English well. So glad we didn't go it alone.
Very happy with the trip, no complaints at all. The travel agency was very accommodating with a split hotel pick up and our guide Green helped us make the most of the 2 hours we had. The Pandas, of course, were as cute as you thought they'd be... but what was also fascinating was the story about their evolution, behaviors and life cycle.
Chengdu doesnt have many English speakers. This tour made it very easy since everyone involved spoke English. A big 'like' - I'd recommend this to any visitor to Chengdu.
Try to visit in winter and get there early - coz the Pandas like it cool. We saw almost all the pandas active - or as active as a panda gets - outdoors. If you have very limited time, spend it around the young cubs' enclosure - they're much likelier to treat you to a playful panda fight-roll-chase-climb sequence.
