Great tour and guide. We went to number of prominent temples and enjoyed having own guide with family to keep you fully informed. Well worth the money.
Our tour guide, Noy, was absolutely amazing. She was very knowledgeable in Buddhism and the different temples. She was friendly and went out of her way to help us buy local food at vendors. The tour gave us a better understanding of the culture in Chiang Mai.
Truly amazing experience. Private tour guide provided invaluable information. Spoke very good English.Pick up to and from hotel made life easier. He arrived on time and was very receptive to our questions. It felt like a very personal and comfortable experience which I would highly recommend.
Loved our tour guide and seeing the city and all the temples was completely unforgettable. It will stay etched in my mind forever.
This tour with great. The guide was really knowledgable and customized the tour when we asked to visit a temple not on his itinerary. The scenery is beautiful and I feel we would have missed a lot without a guide.
Chiangmai is a wonderful place, far nicer, cleaner and friendlier than Bangkok. The Royal Princess Dusitani Hotel, was excellent for its 4-star rating and obvious age. Our tours, booked through Viator were interesting and well guided.
both driver and guide were polite and nice. guide was knowledgable and answered all the questions we had.
relaxed and easy tour of the temples and city...private tour is nice, because the guides are happy to stop when you need another iced coffee:-)
Piew was our private tour guide for the Chiang Mai city and temples tour and he was excellent. He taught us so much about the culture and about Buddhism. I feel like we learned a lot about day to day life in Chiang Mai while getting to see quite a few beautiful sites. He was very helpful in suggesting restaurants/activities for us later on as well.
Wassan was also a great driver. I recommend this tour for anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

This was a superb tour in which I got to see three very different Temples. Dom Suthep was particularly interesting as it was so busy and it was possible to observe the immense variety of religious rituals being performed there.
It was very nice experience, Elephant owner for the day was fantastic, learning , some of place spectacular, lot to cover. Thank you Chaing Mai.
It was a wonderful day the only thing I didn't like was the compulsory stops om the way back at a silver shop and a silk factory not interested in them really and way over priced. overall its was good and the tour guide was very informative about the temples
It was great having a private guide to explain the significance of the sites, and to take pictures on my camera of me interacting with the monks.

Excellent opportunity to visit the main temples. Only problem was that a half day wasn't long enough. Our guide was very good.
Interesting tour and the guide was very informative. A good way to start any visit to Chiang Mai.

The private tour is a very good choice as you have a little more flexible time and get to spend more time gaining information from your guide. The temple's private tour is well worth doing.
The Chiang Mai City and Temples tour we are rating 3 stars. There was virtually very little info provided by the guide regarding the city itself. The 2 temples we visited were very interesting and beautiful....must sees for Chiang Mai. The guide needs to go back to tourist guide 101 and be more personable and make us, the clients, feel that he, the guide, is actually interested in his job. The driver provided a comfortable and safe driving experience.
Our tour guide told us almost nothing during driving and walking. Which was about 90 of the tour time.
There was no city involved. Just two temples that we finished over an hour early so we were given the option of going to a silver and silk factory. The silver one was a huge waste of time and uncomfortable the silk factory and shop was interesting but took 5 minutes. The temple part was fine.
