My hopes for a nice day faded as it was very foggy. Very foggy. You couldn't see the back of the boat. But the crew and guide rose to the occasion and as the trip progressed the fog lifted and by the time we got to the Sears tower, you could see all of it. Kevin was a terrific guide and very knowledgeable about Chicago history and folklore. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would recommend it highly, and don't be discouraged by poor visibility.
This tour is Not to be missed while visiting Chicago...Susan our tour guide was excellent and explained the history and important facts of the buildings..
Fun,informative. The guide, Jake, knew his stuff. He was friendly and had a great sense of humor. This was our top tourist attraction during our stay

Although a beautiful sunny day quickly changed to overcast and eventual light rain, this was a wonderful trip. We debarked from Navy Pier and went up the Chicago R. to see major structures and buildings in the downtown area. A very knowledgeable docent presented an almost non-stop, 70-minute program about Chicago , the river, the bridges, the buildings and the historic figures that have made this city great. Although I knew a lot of the information beforehand, there were many anecdotes and historical interjections that were new to me. Anything omitted was largely due to time constraints. Although I was born in Chicago and have always felt quite at home there, this was my first visit in almost 20 years and I learned much. Anyone who comes to Chicago and doesn't take advantage of this cruise is literally missing the boat.
The Shoreline Architecture River Cruise was fantastic! Our tour guide, Victor, was terrific- incredibly engaging and knowledgeable. The boat was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend!
The tour was fantastic. Our tour guide, Jake, was very informative and entertaining as well. I learned a lot about the the architecture in Chicago as well as the history of the city. We were also very fortunate to have beautiful weather. I would highly recommend this tour.
The tour was great. Comfortable, with everyone on board very friendly. Our tour guide was wonderful. I've already highly recommended the trip to several others.
Captain Kenya was awesome navigator and JJ was very knowledgeable about all the buildings lining the Chicago River. Highly recommended tour if you are in Chicago and interested in the history of the city.
this is a great tour with a very informative and entertaining guide. Would highly recommend.
If you're looking to get to know the City of Chicago, I'd definitely recommend this tour. It was my mom and I's first day in Chicago, and I've never been here before. I came across this tour and thought we'd go. I'm so glad we did. They talked about the city's beginnings and architecture. It was love at first sight. I love the City of Chicago. Though we took the 10am tour, it was quite cold, but if you bundle up, you should be fine. Anywhere you sit on the tour, you'll still get an amazing view of the city. And the workers are so polite and accommodating.
Absolutely loved this tour! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. Everyone that visits Chicago for the first time like me needs to take this cruise. The tour operator was very organized and there were a lot of staff available for assistance when needed.
Outstanding tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and funny. We brought some out of town visitors to the tour and they just kept saying how much fun the tour was and how much they learned about Chicago, the river and Chicago architecture. We highly recommend this tour!
Our guide, Sarah, was not only knowledgable but funny and witty. This tour is excellent. We didn't want it to end.
