I loved the tour and our guide was great.

Warm, friendly, efficient staff who had excellent knowledge about the area and the sights. Also a great way to get around the city.

We had a nice and informative trip through the streets and tourist interest places of downtown Chicago.

The bus was a bit old and smelly, but the tour itself was a breath of fresh air.

The only reason this wasn't four stars is that we had bad luck--there was a major event that day which really limited traffic.

Our family of 4 enjoyed the Chicago Hop-on Hop-off Tour. We started our tour at stop 13 because it was right next to a McDonald's where we could have breakfast and then head to the Sears Tower on stop 1. Even though we were there by 915, there was already getting to be a long line, or so we thought. The line was much worse when we left. We got off some stops, and others just rode by, but really enjoyed listening to the commentary of the tour guide. We learned and enjoyed things so much more than if we had just been walking by on our own.

Unfortunately, it was a bit too cold, 55 degrees, for this warm weather person, but otherwise the service was great. Any thoughts of bringing the trolley to Miami, Florida?

Really enjoyed the tour, but some tour guides were a lot better than others. We found a great guide and stayed on his bus all the way around, and then went back to sites we wanted to see.

Because of flooding rains on the weekend, we didn't really make full use of the trolley for our 3 day pass. We did finally take it just to see Chicago, but none of my party wanted to get off because of the rains. I'm sure we would have used it to full advantage if the weather was better. I think I should have just purchased a one day pass when we got there. In fact, when I turned my voucher in at the kiosk, I was told they were not using Viator anymore, and they almost did not accept my voucher. I wish Viator had let me know about this before we arrived so I wouldn't have had a problem.

It was decent. Better than walking in the cold windy weather.

It was great but would have preferred a live description of the area not a recording.

I really enjoyed this tour, and the tour guides were good and informative. I would totally recommend it if you happen to be in Chicago.

It gave us a good taste of downtown Chicago given the limited time that we had. The bus took longer than originally expected to complete the loop and stopped to pick up every 20 minutes rather than every 10, perhaps because it is not yet prime tourist season. A good daytime activity and a simple way to see the major points.

The female guide on our tour was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, and delivered the points of interest in a clear and at times amusing fashion.

The trip was absolutely worth taking. However, make sure that you have good weather and that your trolley can make it around the loop without breaking down.
