We had a great time. Tour guide was very knowledgable and that added to a great experience.
Fabulous! A fun and interesting tour with a good overview of Chicago and the many sites that movies have been filmed. Highly recommend this tour!
I didn’t realize how often Chicago is used as the backdrop for movies. Very fun to see the movie clips while looking at the actual places where the scenes took place.
United States of ...
This was a really fun tour! I was excited to see where scenes from my favorite movie was filmed (Untouchables), but also many., many others! We got to see a lot of actual footage and then the real location.. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable on all things movie related! Highly recommend...
Patrick McDonald is a very good narrator of all the stories behind the making and the scenes for the Chicago films - fun tour... on-the-spot decision taken to also join the first-of-the-season Blues Brothers Movie Tour with him in the same afternoon: also brilliant! :-)
Well worth the time and money. We had a great guide, who was very informative and funny, and I would definitely recommend this tour to both visitors and natives.
Tour was fun and well worth the $30 price. Bus arrived a little before the start time, so we could wait on the bus instead of in the cold. Tour guide was wonderful. Very energetic and knowledgeable, and he dealt with minor traffic back ups and small road closures with humor and ease. Didn't realize how many movies were made in Chicago and it was very cool to see the film on the monitor and then drive right by the real site! Also, the guide covered a bit of film and city history, discussed current films out now and coming soon, as well as showing us sites where films were made in Chicago, so it was very thorough and interesting. I would highly recommend this tour!
This tour was brilliant. The guide was full of film knowledge and the video clips shown really bought it to life. There are so many films that have used the Chicago area that you don't realise. Brilliant! One for all film buffs
Having participated, and enjoyed, every 'cheesy' tour that Chicago has to offer, this one was definitely our favourite. Our guide was a film critic who made the whole experience so interesting and informative as he provided a very funny commentary which accompanied the film clips of the sights we were shown.
Excellent tour really brought the movies to life and a great way to see Chicago! Unmissable!
The tour was great, it took us around town ,looking at all the sites. The guide was knpwledgable and a little funny . All in all it was fun. Would do it again next time in chicago.
Awesome! My 11 year old son thought it was the best thing we did in Chicago!
excellent tour guide, very knowledgable. covered all places in the program and finished on time.
This was awesome. I can't believe we covered so much area in a relatively short time. The information was good and it was presented in a light, relaxing manner. Thanks
The tour was fantastic! Our guide was very informative, and made sure we were able to get any and all pictures we wanted. My only request is that they incorporate more Television Shows in the tour, as well as the movies....I would pay to see it again, I just wish it was longer. GREAT JOB!!! Will highly recommend to anyone else visiting Chicago!
My husband and I love movies. This was a well done and executed tour. Both the driver and movie critic tour guide did a great job.
Went here as part of our honeymoon. The tour guide was awesome and enthusiastic (and very knowledgeable). They cover A LOT of ground in the 2 hours and you get to see several sites. The price is very reasonable and it is probably worth it if you're a movie buff (I am not, so it was hard to keep up with, but my husband is a movie buff, and he really liked it). If you love movies, you'll probably like this. It was interesting to hear some history about these sites, and then see them on other tours later in the week. I kind of felt like I knew Hollywood secrets that no one else knew! We decided to deduct a star only because we thought there would be more photographic opportunities (a few seconds to snap a picture now and then), but unfortunately there really wasn't. While we're lacking in pictures, it was still an interesting tour. Even the locals (all but 4 of us on this particular tour) learned something new. If you have the time, it's something different to do in Chicago!
Very interesting tour. I really enjoyed it. Only problem was my seat. I was in the front seat and couldn't see the screen showing the film clips. Highly recommend it, just stay out of the front seat.
Loved the interspersing of video clips with tour guide information.
