Our tour guide Margaret, was great. She was very informative and entertaining. As a born and bred Chicagoan, I did not even know we had these pedways. We went through city hall, the Illinois state building and the cultural center. I definitely recommend this tour and I actually plan on exploring other parts of the pedway on my own.

this tour exceeded our expectations! Margaret, our charming guide, entertained us with livly esnippets of history about each building and point of interest as she confidently wove us through the Chicago Pedway. Our attention was captured by her scope of knowledge, which was delivered with comedic wit. This tour was the perfect length and concluded in the Cultural Centre; a wonderful place to explore and enjoy alone, or fan out to the many great restaurants, shops and attractions nearby. We would highly recommend this trip to those new to the city, or seasoned visitors looking for a fun and informative glimpse of Chicago's downtown area.

My husband and I had a wonderful time on the pedway tour. Margaret is extremely knowledgeable, about not only the pedway, but about all the buildings and Chicago history in general. We have already suggested it to many friends.

Interesting tour about a relatively unknown feature of the city. Our guide was energetic and told us a lot of facts about things we never considered.

Remeber to tell, that on the saturday tour you won't be able to follow all of the pedways!! but still it is a very nice and interesting tour.

Fantastic time! Great to have a local giving the tour. She knows all of the inside "scoop" which makes it that much more interesting and fun. An example would be the "red/green war" at Macy's or Mashall Fields depending upon your point of view - LOL!

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better

Too much Chicago history and not enough pedway - most areas of the section she chose were closed on Sat. so she simply stood above and told us about it - spent more time at the Cultural Center which is free and I'd already been there - no guide was needed

1 star rating: I do not recommend this

Not so much a tour of Chicago history and architecture as a quirky, uninteresting history of the covered walkway. If you like shopping malls, escalators and revolving doors, this is the tour for you. I would liken it to The DaVinci Code, just change Tom Hanks to Professor Trelawney from Harry Potter, swap out all the interesting clues for random pedway symbols, and instead of a the Louvre, it’s a food court.
