Our tour guide was very informative and delightful. My daughter and I enjoyed it very much. Recommended it to all my friends.
It was fantastic! Loved Margaret out tour guide. I had guests in town for my son's wedding so not only did I enjoy the tour as a Chicago resident but my guests thought it was so unique. I liked it so much I sent three of my young adult nephews and their girlfriends the next day and they also loved it!
This was a great experience for our whole family. Margaret was friendly, informative, and very entertaining. It was especially timely to take this tour when it was bitterly cold outside--we learned some great ways to get around the city while avoiding the wind and weather. We appreciated learning more about this little-known aspect of the city, as well as her personal recommendations for other ways to have a great Chicago experience.
The tour was great. Margaret was funny and informative. The Chicago Pedway is a very interesting thing and I am glad I took the tour.
Our guide was entertaining, enthusiastic and informative. Saw a new side of the city I thought I knew.
If you're interested to know how Chicago Pedway works, this is a tour for you! The guide (Margaret) was great, made a lot of jokes, but at the same time seemed to really know what she was talking about. I've read the Lonely Planet guide a few days ago and she'd properly mentioned some of the information I've read there -- and much more! Besides, the price (US$20) was good too, for all that info you get on the 90-minutes tour.
I've read some people complaining about going on Saturday because the Pedway itself was partially closed, but I've gone on a Thursday and everything was up and running fine.
Had no clue about this interesting part of Chicago. Very interesting.
This was a fantastic Tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and sociable. She also had a sense of humor. My husband and I have been on many Chicago tours and this was very different. It was a smaller group, 8 people, and that made it nice as well. I would do this again since the guide told us she makes changes to the tour to see different aspects of the pedway. Great idea!
I found the Pedway very interesting. My husband and actually used it the next day. The tour guide had great information and was a fantastic story teller.
Our guide was great! She had lots of energy, came through on the promise of fun, and shared interesting stories about Chicago. Would recommend.
It was more than I was excepting , It was great , Margaret. was great very upbeat and informative, After the tour was done she took the time too answer our question that were not related to the tour. She just did not run a way. Glad we did it,
We are from the Chicago suburbs and had our cousin from Germany visiting; since we had heard about the Pedway, but didn't know the history or how to find it, we purchased this tour. When we arrived and Margaret introduced herself as our guide, I did a little happy dance. We had read wonderful things about her, and she did not disappoint! Margaret showed us parts of Chicago that we had never seen...embarrassing, but true. She combined the history with humor, we learned and laughed...what a fabulous combination! I would recommend the Pedway Tour to anyone, local or from out of state/country, who is not familiar with the Pedway system and the often unseen history of Chicago.
Our tour guide Margaret, was great. She was very informative and entertaining. As a born and bred Chicagoan, I did not even know we had these pedways. We went through city hall, the Illinois state building and the cultural center. I definitely recommend this tour and I actually plan on exploring other parts of the pedway on my own.
