We had four of us that went on this tour. The tour was great, sorry the deli went out of business and we didn't get to go there. Our only suggestion would be to walk a little slower. We would recommend this tour as a must do.

This was a GREAT experience. Besides sampling of foods, the tour guide provided history of the foods and how they related to Chicago as well as background of the Chicago neighborhoods that we visited. This is the tour you will talk about when you go return home.

What a fabulous tour to go on! Our family of five enjoyed the entire tour. My children are 17, 19, and 21. we were so impressed with the places we went, we returned to every place and made purchases to take home with us. Our tour guide, Heather, was very knowledgeable and encouraged questions from everyone. Accommodations were made for people with food allergies and vegetarians.
The tour is a walking tour that doesn't leave you where you started. This concerned us until we realized that we needed to retrace our steps in order to make purchases in these fine establishments. Everyone in my family LOVED this tour!!!

I highly recommend this tour! Great way to see 2 neighborhoods, sample authentic Chicago eats and get a real feel for the city. Our tour guide Martha was terrific! First stop is a Jewish deli where we each got half a Reuben sandwich. Second stop was a slice of deep dish Chicago style pizza at Lou Malnati's. Delish!! We were all full by then! Rest of the tastings were smaller, but also great. Martha also included lots of interesting history about the area.
