What You Can Expect

Viator VIP: Willis Tower Skydeck Early Access, Trolley City Tour and Chicago River Cruise

Viator VIP River Cruise

Head to Skydeck Chicago at Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower) and enjoy exclusive early access to this interactive experience on the 103rd floor, an attraction that brings thousands of visitors a day. With this Viator VIP, you'll arrive before normal operating hours to covet uninterrupted views without the crowds.
Learn fun facts from an audio tour and snap photos of Lake Michigan and city sights as you step onto the Ledge — a series of glass-and-steel cubes that protrude 4.3 feet (1.3 meters) from the Skydeck. Hovering 1,353 feet (1,353 meters) above the city, you’ll find yourself standing outside the tallest skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere!
After an hour here, take a 2-hour trolley tour of downtown Chicago with onboard narration about city history, architecture and landmarks. Motor along LaSalle Street in the Loop, and admire structures such as the Rookery Building. See glass-and-steel skyscrapers by Mies Van Der Rohe, the corncob-shaped towers in Marina City, and famous sculptures by Picasso, Calder, Miró and Chagall.
Make a stop at Millennium Park, cross the drawbridge over the Chicago River and continue along the Magnificent Mile past the John Hancock Center, Tribune Tower, Wrigley Building, Grant Park, Soldier Field and the Field Museum of Natural History, before a stop at Adler Planetarium for awe-inspiring views of the Chicago skyline on the shores of Lake Michigan.
On arrival at Navy Pier, use your free time to grab lunch (own expense) before boarding the boat for a 1-hour Chicago River cruise. Learn from an architecture expert about notable landmarks while you drift past the IBM Building, Aon Center and Willis Tower — now viewed from the water.
Finish your 5.5- to 6-hour VIP tour of Chicago back at Navy Pier, with plenty of time left in your day to explore on your own.
Viator VIPs feature travel experiences not typically available to the general public — from behind- the-scenes access to private viewings and VIP service — at many of the world’s top attractions, often with no lines and no crowds. Viator VIP tours are not available from other 3rd-party online sellers.

Fantastic experience, really enjoyed being the first up the sky deck. Our Trolley driver Charley was brilliant, very informative and very funny. Victor, our cruise tour guide was the same. It was a brilliant way to see the city, especially for those with limited time.

fantastic! Every part of our tour was wonderful. Juan our guide at Willis Tower was fun and informative and we really felt like he took a personal interest in making sure we enjoyed our tour and were on time for the second part, the Trolley. Our driver Bill was very knowledgeable and responsive to questions. My favorite part of our tour was the River Cruise. WOW! Victor is amazing!!! Very easy to see his passion for architecture. He was smart, funny, and really knew his stuff! I would recommend Viator's tour to friends in a heartbeat! Thanks so much for helping to make our time in Chicago such a blast!

Excellent tour. We had only one full day to take in the sites of Chicago and this covered everything, and more!

I've visited Chicago many times over the last several years but this is the first time I've signed on for any of the tours. Let me tell you - it was worth the time and money. The combination of the tours was exactly what I had hoped it would be. And Viator is without a doubt the company to go with. The people involved were top notch. I got e-mail reminders as the date got closed about making sure I had printed out my vouchers and when and where I needed to be. I travel all over the country and this was one of the best experiences that I've ever had. If you're going to visit Chicago and are wondering what to do, look no further.

TOUR was AWESOME...Willis Tower at 8am sharp, narrated Trolley tour of the city with knowledgeable and funny guide, CloudGate pics, Fountain pics, Navy Pier for lunch by 12:30, and Architecture boat tour until 2:30... Return back to Navy Pier for Ferris Wheel..I'd recommend this tour for still have the rest of the day to do whatever you have energy for. My woman loved it...she was visiting from as a package so you don't have to look for what to do and see and pay individually for everything..This VIP package was AMAZING

The tour is amazing and well worth the cost. I, my daughter, and five grandchildren first cousins did the tour. When asked their favorite event, they all said the Willis Tower. My daughter and I liked it all. Relaxing on the boat was a nice way to finish. Your guides are very knowledgable, especially the young man on the River tour. Even the children ages 9 to 12 were listening.

Overall a really nice day for my group. Having the Willis Tower viewing area to ourselves was a highlight. Both the trolley tour and the architecture cruise were loaded with good information. The guide from Shoreline cruises was especially knowledgable and passionate. I would recommend to others.
