Fran Pardo is the very best tour guide. She had outstanding knowledge of these cities and provided a first rate experience for us including lunch at a place with a great view. Fran should get a raise - she is really an outstanding guide.
We had a great day trip with our guide Claudio. We learned a lot and got to see a lot for the short amount of time spent in Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar. Claudio was very knowledgeable of the area and kept giving us bits of history which I enjoyed as I love history. I was happy we were able to visit Pablo Neruda's house in Valparaiso, we got there just before the crowd starting coming. We also had a chance to ride a finicular which is definitely a must. The weather was gloomy so we did not enjoy much time on the beach of Vina del Mar but the lunch recommendation there was great. We loved our lunch at Chez Gerald. If you are pressed for time, I'd recommend this tour to get to know Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar. Another perk is the stop at a vineyard on the ride from Santiago to Valaparaiso. Wine was good and our guide took great pictures.
Alberto was a very good and informative guide with a passion for Chilli.
We had one other couple on our tour from the UK which helped make the day enjoyable.
This was a wonderful introduction to some of the "wine valleys" and to the Pacific coast! Our guide Daniel looked after everything very well and was very knowledgeable about our stops and the area of our tour, including a wonderful lunch stop! Our driver Marlene was excellent as well. Gracias!
The tour was more comprehensive than we expected.
The driver Marco and guide Christian were both very knowledgable and helpful.
It was great that we had the car to ourselves and went up into the hills for a magnificent view over the highway, toll roads and vineyards and surrounding hills.
Excellent trip with a very friendly driver and a tour guide that went to great depth explaining each point of the tour. Highly recommend this tour for anyone on a short visit to Santiago.
Carol and Rodrigo our tour guide and driver were AMAZING!! It turned out that we were the only ones in the tour, so we go it privately - BONUS! and were able to completely customize to whatever we wanted to do / see. We never felt rushed or like we missed anything.
Carol has vast knowledge on the history of both towns and on the architecture of Valparaiso as well as Neruda. The highlight of the tour is to just walk around Valparaiso and admire the architecture and art that's everywhere.
A must do in Chile!
Interesting venues. Knowlegable guide with personal experience Valparaiso.
I loved our tour. We are from the USA but there were people from Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela. It was fun to meet people from all over. Our guide had to speak English, Spanish and Portuguese. Jaime did a great job. We saw a lot of things and had an amazing lunch overlooking the ocean. I would recommend this tour.
Our private guide brought us to spots where tourists don't usually go. A great day out of Santiago and very informative.
Excellent tour enjoyed very much would maybe suggest time at the naval museum.
The two cities are a mandatory stop for everyone going to Santiago. Our tour guide Fredy was very attentious, and we accomplished everything on our wishlist for the trip and more!
O passeio foi bastante agradável, o guia Luis nos conduziu de forma excelente, nos mostrando todos os pontos e tirando todas as nossas dúvidas, mesmo com a nossa dificuldade em se comunicar em espanhol. Muito bom!
Thank you for a really good experience. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel, we enjoyed being treated as special. Our Guide was professional and very knowledgeable and we had a great day. We would recommend the tour to anyone wanting a good value for money experience.
Well worth doing. Not enough time over on the coast to see everything. Excellent guide.
The trip worth it a lot, but without our tour guy like Gonzalo is not the same thing. This guy is very knowledgeable about the culture and history of Chile. Great experience!
-We loved our trip to Vina Del Mar and Valparaiso.
Our guide (Pablo) was delightful, giving us much information about the region and it´s people.
He gave us plenty of time to look at various attractions. The restaurant he took us to, (original Chilean food) was delicious.
I would certainly advise taking this trip. Janice and Terry,
We Had a great time. Our guide, Pablo, was knowledgeable and very accommodating. We did this tour on May 1, which is labour day in Chile and many things were closed or restrained because of the manifestations, but Pablo managed to show us the history and all the important sights in these curious places. Very recommended !
Great tour, excellent guide. We were the only tourists that day and Pablo (the guide) spared no effort to make us feel good. Highly recommended.
The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar areas. We had a group consisting of Spaniash speaking, Portuguese speaking and English speaking people. The guide effectively communicated all points of interest to all of us.
Vina Del Mar was especially beautiful. We stopped at a wonderful restaurant by the sea for lunch and fellowship.
We would definitely recommend this day trip.
it is worth tour, have a wonderful paid sea food lunch. tour guy is good.
no problem, nice views and good organization ofthe trip
In spite of the heavy traffic going to Valparaiso for the New Year's Eve fireworks and the congestion in town the trip was wonderful and our guide and driver were able to adjust to the traffic situation nicely. The tour operator arranged with us the day before to leave an hour early and that was helpful considering the traffic. The restaurant used for the lunch was crowded and the service there a bit slow, but the food was excellent. I don't fault Viator for that every place in town was packed!
