Christchurch City Sightseeing - Must See Four Attractions

The first stop is the International Antarctic Center, a winner of the New Zealand Tourism Board's award for 'Best Visitor Attraction'. Get blown away by blizzard storms and climb aboard the amazing all terrain amphibious Antarctic vehicle - the Hagglund for a ride of a life time!

The tour then moves on to Willowbank Wildlife Reserve which contains a large variety of birds and animal life both native and introduced. See the national emblem the kiwi in its natural habitat and you'll have the opportunity to feed, and pet the animals through the reserve.

The last stop is the Air Force Museum at Wigram, New Zealand's original Air Force base. The Attraction has 28 fully restored aircraft together with newly refurbished static and interactive displays that dramatically enhance the visitors experience.

Great way to see a lot in a short time although unless you are into airplanes, the Air Force museum was a bit boring although good for a quick look.

I only had four days to visit Christchurch, and this package was great. I saw the main attractions and split them up between two days to fit in other activities. This was fantastic and completely worthwhile!

Driver who picked us up at the hotel was confusing and in too much of a hurry. We didn't know what was to happen after Antartica Museum. Lady at museum phoned to clarify this, and our tour guide from that point on was very friendly and helpful.

The driver was brilliant, great and provided educating commentary while understanding the cultural and language differences of the passengers aboard.
