I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF THIS!!!!! You definitely get what you pay for with this tour. I was picked up early in the morning from my hostel and once we arrived at the lodge we were fed an early lunch. Afterwards we were given our gear and then we were off to the river. We spent 2.5 hours on the river before returning to the lodge for hot showers and a yummy bbq dinner. At the end of the day we were returned to where we were collected from. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to go rafting and I will be going back to raft with them again next year.

This was awsome. Staffs are fantastic, venue was great and the experience was magnificent. Highly recommended for anyone going to Christchurch. A+
It was an awesome experience! The internet booking was easy, and the local supplier reps were really friendly. We went when the water was high, so the safety briefing was thorough and made me feel safe. As you start on the smaller rapids, it gives you time to get the hang of it before the grade 5's. You can opt out of the bigger rapids if you want, but we were well up for it by then. It's a huge buzz, only downside was that it was over too quickly.
This was great fun even though it was cold when we did it. If you are unsure how many levels you wish to do, the guide can let you get out and rejoin later on. We will do it again.
The staff were great. They kept the mood up, even though the weather restricted us to Level 3 rapids. It's a shame we couldn't do Level 5. Plus, it was freezing cold in the middle of summer! I can definitely see how much better it could have been if the weather wasn't so bad, which apparently isn't often.
