Very good tour. Nicely paced. Very informative. Loved our guide. Would highly recommend. Need much clearer directions on where to meet the tour bus! No where near where directions and map said it was.
The tour was awesome. Would highly recommend this tour. My wife and I loved it.
I really enjoyed this tour of castles! Lots of history packed into a busy day. The guide was incredibly friendly and knowledgable. The only very small thing to watch out for is that eating lunch isn't a top priority - bring a couple of snacks for the bus and plan on a relaxing meal afterward.
i enjoyed it very much, it was a high light of my Copenhagen experience. I was lucky with supper good guied who enjoyed his stories with all of us, and it made it more interesting. Lots of free time to explore everything around and shop as well. it was good.
Three of us came on the tour. It was really good and interesting. We had a great time. The bus was easy to locate. Mr bus driver and our tour guide were very friendly. As soon as we produced our tour confirmation email, we were on the bus. Our tour guide, (I wish i had asked his name) was very nice. He would alert us before we came pass buildings/places with special historical values or storys so that we had time to pull out our camera. As we walked through the castles, the tour guided explained everything in detail. It was a very informative tour. We were never rushed from places to places. We did it in a comfortable pace, and we were always given enough time to take photos. This was the first tour we booked with Viator and it will definitely not be the last one.
Beautiful castles and countryside. We had a great well informed guide.
The only thing bad about the trip was that the pick up site was not where the ticket said it was and if it had not been for an observant Copenhagen information lady at the tourist office we would have missed the tour. Now the good part...Our guide Gordon was an American who lived in Denmark and was an expert on Danish history as well as being a fabulous presenter. The double decker bus gave us great views and was so comfortable. North Zealand is a beautiful countryside and seaside area with castles that rival any in Europe. With this tour we really felt we got to know the area outside Copenhagen and it enhanced our experience greatly. We had a good, but a bit frenzied lunch with so many people crowded in a small restaurant. We certainly were given ample time at the castles and were especially awed by "Hamlet's" castle on a point with it's breathtaking views of the sea. We would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone who has an extra day in Copenhagen.
Fantastic!! We absolutely loved this tour. It was really great to get out of the city to see some of the beautiful Danish countryside. Helsingor was wonderful. Just one negative point (not the only tour that has this small problem) was that none of our paperwork pinpointed exactly where to await "pick up". A bit of guess-work was involved. May I suggest that receipts advise that you wait "near the Hans Christian Anderson" statue opposite the Tivoli Gardens and also that the coach driver will walk to there to collect people? Apart from this nervous start, a fantastic way to spend a day in Copenhagen.
This was an excellent tour. The guides were very friendly, informative and accommodating. The castles are spectacular as is the beautiful drive from Copenhagen to North Zealand which exposes you to the wonderful architecture used in Danish home building. This tour is not to be missed!
The tour was so pleasant and refreshing after planning all of my own touring. Very informational. The castles were spectacular and one of my highlights of my trip. I'd go again.
Antonia was a wonderful guide and we had a very enjoyable day with her and the driver who was excellent.
