Pass by Christiansborgs' Palace, now home to the Danish Parliament, the Supreme Court and the State Rooms. If you choose the afternoon tour you will pass through Christiansborg Palace 'secret' gardens, to admire their beauty and tranquility. The Palace is located on a small island and is separated from the city center by a moat-like canal.
Not to forget The Little Mermaid inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale. The Little Mermaid is the most popular tourist attraction in Denmark and is one of the most photographed statues in the world.
If you opt for the morning tour you will also get to see the Changing of the Guard taking place at Amaliensborg Palace.
A great tour to get a feel for the city and get yourself familiar with the main sights.
A great tour! Really nice time.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Copenhagen.
Great tour. We did this tour before a cruise. We were able to see all the major sights prior to the cruise. I would recommend this tour.
Excellent, humorous driver, good overview tour. We all enjoyed it greatly.
The City Tour of Copenhagen covers all the interesting places as we were in Copenhagen before 15 years ago. It is informative and there is no prolong period where there is nothing to see.
Once we found the meeting place (no indication of where at City Hall we were meeting), we had a great tour. We were concerned about taking our luggage with us because we were headed to the cruise port afterwards, but the train station nearby stowed our belongings until after the tour. I think if this question comes up again, it would be advantageous of Viator to mention the convenience of the train station. As it turned out, we had looked at two tours (one not Viator), and only Viator was willing to work with us as far as the luggage goes. Thank you for not letting us miss Copenhagen!
The weather was cold and raining, but our driver and guide made our tour very enjoyable. It was our guide's first day, but she did a wonderful job.
Was supposed to be "about 90 minutes" and ended up 15 minutes short.Other than that, very enjoyable, informative with enthusiastic guide.
