Fun, professional, thorough. The bus was clean and comfortable and it offered free wi-fi
This was a great way to see the beautiful sites in Copenhagen. Since we had a long layover between flights we chose both the bus and boat tours so we could see everything. The audio guide on the bus and the bus guide's comments were very informative. We also had a good guide on the boat tour.
The canal trip (optional add on to the 3 hour bus tour) is a great way to see all the different types of housing styles and architecture in Copenhagen. You can watch people having fun swimming in the canals, sitting on their apartment balcony or taking a break from work, having a coffee or a beer. It also allows you to see some of the stunning new public buildings such as the opera house and theatre complex.
The bus tour gives you an opportunity to take a break from walking and gives you a great summary of all the main sites including The Little Mermaid and the changing of the guard at Ameilienborg Palace. In air conditioned comfort you can get a good feel for the compact city of Copenhagen.
GREAT TOURS! GOOD FOR CITY ORIENTATION. ONLY PROBLEM IS TO BE MORE SPECIFIC ABOUT WHERE THE ORIGIONAL PICKUP PLACE IS LOCATED
A wonderful tour and a great way to see the sights of Copenhagen. Would definitely recommend this tour!
Wonderful way to see the charming city of Copenhagen. Do this on your first day in the city so you can plan what you want to go back and see later.
WOW, Is not strong enough? Absolutely great. Just wished we had planned more days in (Denmark) and around Copenhagen. The staff at The Andersen Hotel TOPS and the bus/cruise around could have not been better tour guides very informative. Larraine and Alan,,Maurice and Val
Riding on a boat through the canals is a wonderful perspective to view Copenhagen
An excellent way to get an overview of Copenhagen for first time visitors like us. The harbour cruise was better then expected. Some suggestions for improvement:
- the meeting point was not easy to find. Finding the City Hall was easy but it's a big square and it took us some time to locate the bus
- it would be helpful to provide a simple map showing how to return to the City Hall from Grammel Strand
There were only 4 other people on the bus. Good tour and nice bus. We also did the Hop on Off tour but this bus was much nicer.
We also rode the 'hop on, hop off' busses, but this panoramic city tour was better. The English language tour 'translation' via headphones was very interesting and comprehensive, and we were able to see parts of the city that weren't covered by other busses. The Harbor and Canal cruise was really nice as well, and our tour guide was very good. Well worth our sightseeing money. We also appreciated being able to adjust our tour departure time, which allowed us to take advantage of better weather.
This was a most enjoyable experience. Our young tour guide was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed seeing Copenhagen from the harbor boat. This view gave us an entirely different perspective, seeing the city from the canals. It was a lovely day and a wonderful experience.
