Excellent tour. Good guides and castle and position very interesting. Would have liked a little more time in the castle though, but can't have everything I suppose. A.Watson, Sydney
Fantastic tour and wonderful, witty, knowledgeable tour guide. I believe her name was Adriana. I had a splendid time walking about Hamlet castle and as I know a lot about the play, it was enormous fun seeing it. The driver was courteous and we left and returned on time. While they kept us moving and on schedule, I never felt rushed or hurried through anything. Learned a great deal and had a wonderful time! Keep it up!
A very enjoyable tour! The bus was modern, clean and very comfortable. The driver and tour guide were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It was a wonderful experience to visit the three castles. Kronborg castle was interesting to me ... as well as Shakespeare's Hamlet ... I learned that James V1 of Scotland / 1 of England was married in the chapel. On my return, I did some research and found out that his bride was Anne of Denmark - not Margaret, and that the marriage was by proxy in Kronborg, with another marriage ceremony later in Norway. (Wikipedia). Anyway, it sparked my interest as I was born in Scotland.
I would definitely recommend this tour and Viator!
This tour was very interesting and our driver/guide was also very helpful and informative.
Lovely tour, really good tour guide who was knowledgeable and interesting as well as a great sense of humour.
Enjoyed the castle tour. We were able to see most everything we wanted in a short period of time, which was our intent. Service, transport, guide, all the arrangements were very smoothly. We will recommend this to others.
This was a good trip. In addition to a guided tour of the castle (which was AWESOME) , the drive gave us the opportunity to see the countryside and villages outside of Copenhagen. We had purchased only the "Hamlet's Castle tour", but the bus also stopped at Fredriksburg Castle. We were given an opportunity to add a tour of that castle to our itinerary, but decided not to do so. We were able to walk through the extensive (and gorgeous) gardens without paying the entrance fee and spent the rest of the time browsing in several of the nearby shops. All in all, a good day.
Very good tour guide, like going thought the country side and seeing other than just the Castle. It was amazing to see the castle and the close proximity to Sweden. Liked this tour very much
Lots of fun! Interesting audio commentary and great lunch on board, then a detailed tour at the caste. I'd recommend it to others!
Our castle tour was fabulous! Our tour guide was knowledgable, helpful and really wanted to please. We learned so much about Denmark's history, castles, and royal family. Also, after the tour, we were guided to a very nice sweater shop instead of the usual souvenir shops. My only hesitation on giving it 5 stars is because no one contacted us in advance to let us know that the meeting place had been moved to a different location due to contstruction. It's a good thing we were early and were able to learn about the change.
