Meknes is one of Morocco's most striking imperial cities. The Sultan Moulay Ismail, made Meknes his capital. Palaces, mosques, gardens, lakes, granaries, and stables were built over a period of 50 years, and yet Moulay Ismail dream city, surrounded by a massive rampart wall, was never finished.

The ancient city of Marrakech is one of the most dramatic cities in Morocco when seen against the backdrop of the snow-capped High Atlas mountains.

Fez is the spiritual and cultural center of Morocco. The most ancient of the imperial cities, it is a city of enormous variety and contrast. It is unrivaled in the splendor and beauty of its monuments and architecture.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Costa del Sol - Tangier - Rabat (D)
Depart the Costa del Sol to board the Ferry boat to Tangier. On arrival you will have a short panoramic city tour before continuing to Rabat, capital of the Kingdom of Morocco.
Overnight accommodation: Rabat

Day 2: Rabat - Casablanca - Marrakech (B, D)
Morning city tour of Rabat diplomatic and administrative capital, visit the most important sights as the Royal Palace, Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. After the tour continue to Casablanca where you will have a short panoramic city tour before continuing to Marrakech.
Overnight accommodation: Marrakech

Day 3: Marrakech - Meknes - Fez (B, D)
After breakfast, visit the capital of the South, which is located within an extensive oasis between the Atlas Mountains and the pre-desertic area. Koutoubia Tower, twin tower of the Giralda in Sevilla, Saadines Tombs and, Bay Palace and Dejna El Fna Square which is packed with fortune tellers, snake tamers, acrobats, dancers etc. Departure to Meknes for a short panoramic tour of the city, where you can look up to the great Mansour Gate, the most well known monument of the city. Continue on to Fez for the evening.

Day 4: Fez (B, D)
This morning after breakfast, you have a city tour of Fez. The most ancient of the Imperial Cities of Morocco, you will be visiting the more interesting points of the city: the Royal Palace, Christian and Jewish Quarter and The Medina (Old City), declared by UNESCO Patrimony of the Humanity. The afternoon at your leisure to further explore this fascinating city.
Overnight accommodation: Fez

Day 5: Ceuta - Algeciras - Costa del Sol (B)
After breakfast depart via Larache to Ceuta. You have a short time to explore before it is time to board the ferry to Algeciras. Continue on to Costa del Sol where your tour concludes.
