The radio in mini-bus was telling us about Gibraltar in Italian even though all tourists were English speaking.

The bus could not cross to the Rock, so we had to go over and then wait for another bus to come and get us. It took so much time. We had no time to even look around.

We had a lot of trouble crossing the border. We had to get off the bus, walk over, and then get on another bus. This took a lot of our time. We had no time to even look in the shops.

Unless you have a rental car, taking a tour bus is the way to go. Transportation is difficult to Gibraltar. The time spent on the rock is not enough. We saw the caves, the view to Africa and the monkeys. No time to get back up the mountain and take in the more historical aspect of the rock. The town is mainly touristy and lots of shopping. There is a glass blowing place which we enjoyed. When the bus says it's leaving it leaves. No 15 minute buffer like other tours.

There is not much to do with the time we had.

Th opportunity to be at the Gibraltar rock was a great one and the guide was also very warm and knowledgeable. However the tour is not structured in a way that allows for enough time for both shopping and sightseeing. I felt very rushed at the end of the day with less than one hour allocated for lunch and shopping combined.

The guide was not friendly.

The bus was 45 minutes late to pick us up. When we did get on, there were only two seats available, one was broken and the other was soaking wet. Also, there was too much down time after the tour, just sitting in the Gibraltar bus depot.

This was a trip to the shopping street in Gibraltar town with a 'oh by the way there's the rock let's take a drive up and back.' Very, very disappointing. If you like shopping, crowds and riding on a bus for hours on end, this is the trip for you otherwise do it by yourself.
