Explore the mountainous region of Ronda on this day trip from Costa del Sol. See all the highlights of this area including Plaza de Toros Maestranza , Church of the Holy Spirit, Town square, a bull-fighting museum and many other plaza's and cathedrals.
Ronda is situated on top of a plateau which is divided in two by a plunging river gorge known as El Tajo. A bridge (Puente Nuevo) built in the 18th century spans the width of the gorge, joining the two sides.
Visit the town square, known as Plaza de Espana, situated on the north side of the gorge reached by the Puento Nuevo. Visit the Church of the Holy spirit, built in 1485 as well as the Cathedral Church of Our Lady of the Incarnation, known today as the Church of Saint Mary the Elder.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (not included), and some free time before returning to your hotel.
