Our tour guide was eloquent. This was a very interesting day in a place with far less Western influence than I've ever seen.

The ferry ride was only 45 minutes but it was beautiful arriving at the pier. The restaurant they chose was good. I would have liked to have more time to shop.

The bus was right on time. Our tour guide in Tangier was a university professor and therefore very knowledgeable, and did a great job. The main thing that you get out of the trip to Tangier is the overall experience and, in my opinion, it is well worth it.

Overall, we liked the tour very much. The restaurant was excellent and the walking tour was very interesting. We were very uncomfortable with the aggressiveness of the merchants, however. We would have liked to spend more time touring and less shopping - although we do understand that the merchants rely on us to make a living.

The trip was worth while but was a bit 'touristy'. We did, however, enjoy the trip and have recommended it to others.

We were maybe the 3rd or 4th pick-up for the trip. For us, too much time was wasted going to each pick-up point seemed like 2 hours. Then we had to go through the same process to drop off all the other passengers before we were back at our hotel. Maybe small shuttles could be used to cover a specific area then meet at a central location to board the big bus to the port. Also, the tour guide was not very outgoing he could have shown more interest in who was taking the trip and where they were from. The tour of the city and the casbah was OK. BUT, the shopping part was awful. We felt we were prisoners of the guide and did not appreciate the hard sells. We would have liked to have seen more of the city and maybe be driven to see the desert. The meal with entertainment was very enjoyable.

We went on this trip with a two year old, so keep that in mind when reading this. Our tour guide was nice but he was a bit disorganized and didn't communicate very well to us about what to do and when. He just left us to get on the ferry and didn't tell us where to meet him when the ferry stopped or anything, but we all ended up finding him, so I guess it was okay. The snake charmer was really cool, but you only stop there for a couple of minutes. The camels were neat to see. The city is really unique and I am glad I got a chance to see it. It didn't really feel like I was in Africa, but I'm happy to say I have been there! The huge downside was going to the rug store and going to the herb store. You have no choice in the matter and you have no choice but to sit and listen to their sales pitches. The guy at the herb shop was a bit rude to me too and was irritated at my 2 year old. Overall, it was still interesting. The biggest problem I had was the street peddlers who are trying to sell their stuff to you. They follow you down the street asking you repeatedly if you want to buy something and don't stop even when you say no over and over again. If you are prepared for this, then take the trip because it's really cool to see everything.

The camel ride was a two second up and down walk in a circle ride. The whole bus had two minutes to take turns riding the camel. The street beggars were annoying. The old city where you do your walking tour was scary, I would have rather seen some of the new city. The stores were rip offs. The port was crazy. The food was okay, but no drinks are included. The belly dancer sucked, as did the music they played for you. They expected a tip from everybody. At least the bus was comfortable and the ferry was nice. I think overall the price is too high. If it was a little lower, maybe it would be worth it.

Insulting treatment on the outbound portion, at least 14 motorcoach stops to pick up passengers on lots of side roads. Guide was rude and indifferent. Head of trip was more accommodating, he rearranged passenger manifest for return trip and we made only 4 stops!

The trip was fine, but there were a few shortcomings. We were overwhelmed by street vendors! The other shopping venues left much to be desired. The restaurant for lunch was just fair, and the promised belly dancer never appeared. The tour should have provided a few more stops at places of interest. The bus picked us up at our property, but on the way back, let us out on the highway.

The trip was too hurried. There was no time for browsing around the Medina, too much time on the tour around the surrounding areas. The camel ride was a sit on the camel and turn round in the car park and my sister wasn't that keen on being shouted at by the tour guide for not having her badge displayed on entry to Tangier even though we weren't told why they needed to be on show! Interesting but could more easily do it yourself with less hassle and more time on what you want to see.

It was very interesting, but it would have been better if we had not been hounded and pestered by people trying to sell us souvenirs.

I signed up for a group tour in order to feel safer in a place like Tangier, and instead, I felt as though the tour operators took advantage of our captivity and bused us around to their preferred vendors and restaurants and gave us very little free time to actually explore for ourselves. I would not do this tour again. Our Spanish guide was excellent, but our Moroccan guides were cold and overly aggressive.
