Ronny and Hernan were wonderful guides. They had our safety in mind throughout the day. Driving the buggy was really a lot of fun. Getting out of the crowds in the downtown was just what we needed. There were at least five ships in port and the city was crowded with spring breakers. We enjoyed a tranquil beach and the Mayan heritage house. Lunch was more than we expected. Well worth the price.
We had a great time! The guides were very knowledgable, patient, accommodating and helpful. We would do this tour again!

Juan, Omar, and Daniel were fabulous. My friend and I were the only two on this tour and we were made feel very special. After speaking to other people who booked tours on the Cruise Ship, we certainly got the best value for money and the longest trip.
So the tour starts off with snorkelling... it was very good, some colourful fish, but if you've been snorkelling in proper places before, don't expect too much, it was fun though.
Then 'Mexican Lunch'- its a buffet in a hotel poolside bar. Just ok.
Then the buggies, not as state of the art as I had imagined, but a lot of fun, and we got to drive for what seemed like an eternity.
The mayan ruins were not ruins, it was a traditional house, a little stange if Im honest, but good to see, and then the beach was AMAZING....
This was well worth it, wish I could do this trip all over again.
Hernan, Ronny and Omar were great guides! We were a group of 11 of us in our group and the guys took great care of us! We took a short cab ride from the cruise pier to the Hotel Cozumel. Driving the buggies around the island was a highlight for all. I only rated 4 stars as we did not get to go snorkeling due to the weather, which was no fault of the company. Longer time at the beach would have been nice, but we only have so much time. We loved going to Cedral and seeing the village and having an authentic mexican snack prepared for us and learn a little more of the culture. I would definitely recommend!
Cars were fun, snorkeling was OK--would have been more enjoyable without the windy weather, lunch was OK--counter/grill style--narrow selection. Guides were very good, very personable, some interesting Mayan information.
There were some issues with the tour there was an issue with one of the buggy's and a replacement had to be brought out but the biggest problem is the excursion tries to do too much. Some in our party had to choose between having lunch and swimming in the hotel pool and snorkeling. It would have been better to cut something out of the day so everyone could experience everything the tour offered. BUT this should not take away from the tour guides they were all great and the Caped Crusader theme was great.
This is my second time using Viator for my excursions. I was disappointed with the description of the excursion. There are no "Mayan Ruins" to see. They take you to a authentic looking building, talk about the Mayan history, and a woman inside speaks "Mayan" and prepares a snack. The snack was delicious. The history was interesting, however, we were lead to believe we would see "ruins". The tour guides, Juan, Omar, and Daniel were very helpful, friendly and interesting. None of the instrument gauges or the horn on our buggy worked. We were able to stop at a nice beach area and swim for 30 minutes. Then drove on around the island back to the hotel, walked to the snorkeling, and had a very nice Mexican lunch buffet. Well worth the money, but I would have given the rating five stars if we hadn't been led to believe we were going to see "Mayan Ruins".
Tour guides were wonderful, very friendly and entertaining. Self drive buggies were awesome but there should be warning before purchase for people to be aware all these buggies are manual and not automatic.
Also need more time on the beach. Food was good but we didn't have enough time to eat
very bad disappointing didn't see the Maya ruins and we when to the beach we was not in the schedule etc
The tour guides were lovely, but the buggies were manual gear and very uncomfortable. There was a lot of driving and not much to see. The Mayan ruins were a pile of rocks. The snorkelling was cancelled due to s strong current. Waste of MONEY!!
