I would definitely recommend the day trip to Montenegro. Although you spend a lot of time traveling on the bus, there is plenty of beautiful scenery to take in and go around some hair-bending turns up the mountain.

Great day tour from Dubrovnik - you get to see several Montenegran towns. You pretty much have to buy a sandwich lunch at the designated cafe - so if you don't want this, pack something. The museum is a bit of a time filler - but interesting. Guide was excellent. We booked another day trip to Mostar - excellent also.
