Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Cusco Airport Arrival Transfer. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
After collecting your luggage, you have to go outside the terminal to find/get your transport there's a specific area to the left of the main doors. Viator/Viajes Pacifico had a yellow sign with our names on it. There was a driver and a coordinator. This was shared transportation, and unlike the other airport transfers where we ended up being the only ones, we had to wait for others to get their luggage and make their way to the van. We also had to drop off people on the way to our hotel. It took a bit longer, but we really didn't mind - it gave us a chance to see more of the city. It took about 1.5hrs from getting our luggage at the airport to getting to our hotel lobby - not bad. The van was not able to stop right outside our hotel the road was closed to vehicular traffic after 12pm, so the coordinator walked with us the short distance to our hotel, helping us with our luggage, ensuring we got to our hotel safely. Just in time when altitude sickness started to set in, but that's a different story.
The Viajes Pacifico representative met us at the baggage claim. Later we realized that it was a porter working for tips. We travel lightly and prefer to handle our own luggage. The transportation service was cost effective and efficient. The representative also explained other tours available during our stay in Cusco. We later booked one of the tours through Viator and were very pleased.
Although this was just for an airport transfer to the hotel, we were concerned about that portion of our trip. Viatour was great. We were met alm ost at the gate in Cusco, taken directly to the van and dropped at our hotel. Very efficient and professional.
Our driver was waiting for us with a sign with our name on it outside the airport. We were dispatched right to our hotel door, but to do so, we had to transfer from the pickup van to a smaller car in order to navigate the very narrow streets that led to our hotel.
The van arrived at the hotel as scheduled and got us to the airport in plenty of time.
Transfer assistant went above expectations to ease our arrival to hotel.
Transfer was on time, lovely Travel rep, very helpful on showing us our check in desks. Would certainly recommend
After a very long flight with 2 stops. I was feeling a little tired. The very last thing I wanted was to be left stranded at the airport. This did not happen. The representative was perfectly on time. I feel this company are very professional . Thank you.
It was great. I walked out of the airport (it is small) and was confused as to how to meet the transfer. All these taxi guys were yelling at me. One was nice enough to tell me just to walk out in the front and wait, and almost immediately after a man comes up and says my name and brings me to the van. The ride was fine and they gave me information that I needed to make some decision about whether to buy certain tickets and etc.
Excellent service....I was picked up promptly from the airport, and taken to my hotel where the agent helped me with my bags and even waited until I checked in. I highly recommend them!
My ride picked me up at the airport and immediately took me to my hotel. Great introduction to Cuzco!
To get the highest marks, you have to be on time in the perfect convenient location with a friendly attitude and a nice ride.
Transport was prompt and got us to the hotel quickly. Would use them again.
It's nice to know we didn't have to get a taxi for the ride to our hotel! The driver had our names on a board and was picking up several other people so we were in a large van. I think it's only a 20 minute drive to our hotel but with all the other drop offs (we were last) it took a little longer. Driver was courteous and a safe driver. Good price and easy to book. Thanks Viator!
Lily the Viator guide who received me was wonderful and helped orient me to Cusco and gave suggestions on what I could do there on my free days. It was due to her that I ended up doing the amazing Sacred valley tour.
