The tour of Machu Picchu was awesome. Nothing but good things to say about the tour guide. Travel on the train was delightful...great staff and do they know how to entertain.. Bus travel was less than desirable. Slow! Slow!! Slow!!! Return trip to Cusco was 5+ hours; most of it on a bus. Butt was numb. Day trip to Machu Picchu is definitely not the way to go. Makes for a long day with a lot of uncomfortable travel on a bus.

I was well taken care of, the guide was very knowledgable on the subject,\
it was too bad that we had to travel part of the journey by bus. that was
a downer. everything else was first class. thanks

Great tour, but so expensive! One way it could have been kept cheaper would be to include in the booking options to see what nationality the travellers are, as Peruvians, Colombians and Ecuadorians pay less entry fee at macchu picchu- which should surely be reflected on the tour price. Great trip!

Everything about the trip was great with the exception of the buffet lunch which was horrible. The pickup at the hotel was organized with the tour operator contacting me the day before. The tour guide was knowledgable and explained all the aspects of the site. Made getting there easy.

Long day but well worth it. We were lucky in getting a guide just for the two of us which made it a much more enjoyable experience. Guide was excellent with good English. Buffet lunch was nice by the river. A memorable day.

Great day - all travel arrangements went smoothly and always someone waiting for us when / where they were supposed to be!
Would have been nice to get a later train back to Cusco (we got the 15.20) and have an extra hour at Machu Picchu site and extra hour in Aguas Caliente - we had to eat our lunch very quickly and had little time to shop!

It was awesome. It was somewhat strenuous for my husband and me since we are senior citizens. Even our guide had a bad fall.

VIajes Pacifico was very helpful when they didn´t have my tour on record. I ended up going on Wednesday the 19th instead.
It would have been nice had they informed us ahead of time that we would not be returning to the same train station but would be getting off earlier. It led to some confusiona nd some panic on the way home. The day was lovely though and I would have loved to have stayed longer.

The vistadome train was great, very confortable and offering great views. The visit of the macchu picchu was a little bit short

The trip was very well organized and punctual. Our english-speaking guide was informative and competent. The lunch buffet delicious. The only regret is we didn't have more time to spend on our own just walking around the ruins.

Trip was great, except for the fact that your agent in Cusco did not know which hotel we were staying at. Despite at least 3 phone calls to them about this, they still thought we were staying at a different hotel. We only got picked up in the morning because someone else at our hotel was also on the list. They really need to do a better job CONFIRMING WHERE THE GUEST IS STAYING in Cusco.
