We quite enjoyed the guide given our big group. She was quite informative. The price we paid was worth it together with a very good buffet lunch where we saw the 3 Peru animals, alpacca, llama, and the vicuna.

totally worth it! our tour guide was super energetic in the beginning, although she slightly fizzled towards the end, which was a little bit of a bummer. our itinerary was a bit delayed due to one lady getting a little sick (completely unpredictable, so what can you do?), so we ended up spending a little too much time at the shopping square in pisac. i really would've liked to see more of the archeological sites there, but unfortunately, the entire 1 hr in pisac was spent in the shopping area unguided. once we got to ollantaytambo temple of the sun, we were told we needed to purchase more tickets (70 soles ~ $28 each); first my husband and i said we'd just wait outside since we hadn't planned on spending more on this specific excursion. our guide was very insistent that we purchase the tkts, so we did. we definitely did NOT regret that - this experience was amazing! however, i wish viator would just add that cost into their price so we don't have to worry about another 140 soles of our spending cash in the middle of our trip (we were lucky b/c we had enough on us, but others had to pay in USD). since the guides took us back to cuzco at the end (others got dropped off at train stations or hotels in ollantaytambo), we were able to get an add'l tour of chinchero -- AMAZING and so worth it. a little heavy on the knickknack shopping initially, but definitely made up for it towards end. great way to see aLOT in one day w/o the hassle of planning, scheduling taxis, and worries of who to trust. def recommend this excursion if you don't have a ton of time.

This was a fun tour. The stop at the farm was esp memorable. Our tour guide was very kind and overall it was a great experience.

The pick up and bus transfers from one to another were completely confused and we were sure the day was going to be a disaster. However, eventually we did get the put on the right bus and our guide, Raoul Castille was absolutely brilliant and rescued the day. Could have done without the various shopping stops but overall good value for money. The included lunch was good to. This would have been 5 stars if the pick up buses were better organised.

On the pisac market it is possible not to come around, there is nothing to do, only cheap iinekachestvenny Chinese goods. Secred valley in general avoided. Nemplokhy Mixture cafe dinner. Convenient bus. Excursion to ruins can be combined easily with excursion in Makchu Pikchu, you won't pass excess kilometers on mountain roads.

It was just okay. I didn't really like the guide. He didn't smile and seemed to be looking to make a lot of commission on sales. He kept pushing people to buy stuff at the various stops and it got annoying. He was also long winded and a bit boring in his explanations. Ollantaytambo was cool though.

We visited an animal farm, Pisac market and Ollanta ruins. The animal farm was a waste of time and so was Pisac market to some extent. The lunch was great at an outstanding location. The Ollanta ruins were great but the guide did not have our tickets ! We ended up buying our tickets but the tour guide later refunded our money. I suggest they drop the animal farm and shorten the time on Pisac market and Lunch and add the Pisac ruins.

I wish we got to the last stop on the tour a little bit earlier and explored a little bit more of the church. By the time we got there it was dark and we didnt see much.

Although generallygood, could have skipped the trip to see the animals and the Pisac market. Saying Pisac in the tilte of the tour, would have been nice to see the ruins there instead of the market. Lunch was excellent and trip to Ollantaytambo good as well. Other tours stopped in Chinchero but this one drove right through. Perhaps if it started earlier or went a bit later, this could have also been included.

BEWARE! You will be required to purchase the entrance tickets for the park, it is NOT an option as stated. You will have to pay in Cash at the entrance gate, 70 soles per person. They do not accept credit cards. I do not recommend this trip if you are english speaker. We were the only ones who signed up for this tour who spoke english, so we were combined with several other tour companies. The train ride to Machu Picchu through the Ollantaytambo River was more scenic than this tour. I do not recommend this tour, spend a day in Aguas Calientes instead. If you are a history lover, this tour is for you but be careful you will have some headaches trying to figure out where to go and get picked up.

The trip was poorly scheduled. We were taken to a sight, and given 20 minutes to a half hour to explore on our own. We never spent time at a local market in Ollantaytambo. We never saw large sacred stones. There was a lot of time taking tourist to differing drop offs and restaurants. The sacred valley is beautiful, unfortunately this tour did not show it. I blame those that put the tour together. The guide did the best he could given the circumstances.
