The cruise through the gorges of Katherine was fantastic as was the commentary provided by the guides. There was an adequate number of stops and everywhere we went there was something of significance to look at. A great day!

In spite of the long distance we were very comfortable as the various rest stops were well timed.The swim at Edith Falls was very refreshing in a spectacular pool. Needless to say the cruise in Katherine Gorge was amazing. Our driver was most normative throughout the trip. Highly recommended

5 around 60 year old ladies went on this trip, loved all of it. Coach driver was curteous, happy, informative and knowledgeable. Stops were great, L O V E D the gorge and lunch on the boat. There was something special for each of us, the sights, the swim, Adelaide River and for those of us in the older age bracket, convenience stops were well timed and more than adequate...[and clean]

How could Katherine Gorge rate anything under 5 stars? It's stunning! Of course you spend a long time travelling from Darwin and some of the stops are more about driver breaks than points of interest, but that's to be expected and is inevitable. Big compliments to Taffy, the guide at Katherine Gorge (and not just 'cos he's a fellow Welshman!) I'd recommend the trip but you do need to consider whether you want to travel for 13 hours to see Katherine Gorge. We did and would go again.

A very nice tour of the gorge by boat but the bus trip was probably a bit too long. Edith Falls was enjoyable and the lunch at Katherine Gorge Cafe was excellent. If I was doing it again I would choose a cooler time of year. It was 42C the day we went.
