This tour was wonderful! The pickup was smooth and timely, the bus was well equipped and the views impeccable. The best part of the whole day was the cruise on Katherine Gorge and our wonderful aboriginal guide. He was incredibly knowledgable and hearing about his own personal culture and heritage was an indescribable pleasure. This could only be improved by having traveled during wet season when the waterfalls are flowing!
A great tour. It's a long day but well worth while. There are two gorges to cruise through but if you don't feel able to walk over somewhat rocky ground to the second cruise there is a nice shady spot with chairs and iced water to sit a while and wait for the others to return. Dinner at Sapphire Springs on the return journey is optional but I would highly recommend putting your order in. The salt and pepper squid is VERY delicious.
The Katherine Gorge trip was the highlight of our Darwin trip. Such a beautiful place. Excellent commentary during the boat trip through the gorge. The swim at Edith Falls was another highlight. Bus trips there and back were long, though.
I loved this tour!! Edith Falls was lovely and Katherine Gorge is just stunning. Our guide, Ben, was fun and provided some light entertainment for the long drive home. I highly recommend this tour.
This tour was amazing. Great driver/tour guide. Katherine Gorge is incredible. Experience of a lifetime. Highly recommend going. A long day but really worth it.
Edith Falls was beautiful. The Gorge is enchanting. The guide was very knowledgable. The lunch was great.
A very long day but a very comfortable coach journey. Loved the stop at Nitmiluk NP and Katherine Gorge was amazing, took lots of photo's. A good lunch included, arrived back in Darwin very tired but happy after a most enjoyable day.
a long busy day - the driver David was excellent company - the rest of the tour customers were very friendly
The cruise and views were wonderful
Highly recommend this trip, it was fantastic! The tour guide was well informed about the history and culture of Darwin, which was quite impressive.
The trip down Katherine Gorge was a highlight of my visit to the Top End!
Excellent tour guides and wonderful location. Haven't stopped raving about it!
This is a long day but well worth it. Tour guide was knowledgeable, Edith Falls was a great place for a swim (much warmer water than I thought it would be) and the Gorge itself is terrific.
A great tour with a very knowledgeable driver. It is a long day but well worth the effort to see so much in a short time.
Katherine Gorge Lunch Cruise was fantastic, great scenery and very friendly people, only down side was, it's a long day, but still worth doing.
Excellent tour thoroughly enjoyed every minute Chris ( I think,) our driver was great, lunch on the boat was very enjoyable and again the crew were very informative and created a good rapport with everyone.
What a lovely day. We boarded the cruise and had a beautiful lunch as we cruised the Gorge. This is a spectacular cruise with amazing scenery.
Great tour guide. He worked his socks off and gave us the best, informative talk through the day. A long but very enjoyable day.
The cruise through the gorges of Katherine was fantastic as was the commentary provided by the guides. There was an adequate number of stops and everywhere we went there was something of significance to look at. A great day!
In spite of the long distance we were very comfortable as the various rest stops were well timed. The swim at Edith Falls was very refreshing in a spectacular pool. Needless to say the cruise in Katherine Gorge was amazing. Our driver was most normative throughout the trip. Highly recommended
5 around 60 year old ladies went on this trip, loved all of it. Coach driver was curteous, happy, informative and knowledgeable. Stops were great, L O V E D the gorge and lunch on the boat. There was something special for each of us, the sights, the swim, Adelaide River and for those of us in the older age bracket, convenience stops were well timed and more than adequate...[and clean]
