Everything went very smoothly. Although our arrival flight was delayed several hours, there was someone waiting for us with a sign when we arrived. It was our first trip to the DR, and we were extremely grateful to let someone else do the driving on the nearly 2-hour trip to Bayahibe. I would plead with anyone who is not familiar with the roads there to avoid driving at all costs. We witnessed a fatal accident, and the bus system, though very cheap, does not look user-friendly to a foreigner who does not speak the language. On the return trip, the driver arrived at the hotel early and was friendly though he spoke no English. I got the feeling that he would have loved to double as a tour guide if there hadn't been a language barrier. We did not share the van on either trip, though we would not have minded doing so. We really liked having the airport transfer settled before we left, and we did not have to pay anything when we got there though we did tip each driver for their 4 hours of driving on each trip, and they were very appreciative. All in all an affordable, efficient service.

The transportation was great! They were waiting at the airport when we arrived and picked us up on time to return. The only difficulty is that we were instructed to call 24 hours in advance to confirm, but no one ever answered the phone. We were unsure of the plans for pickup upon return, so had someone call and leave a message in Spanish. It all worked out fine and they were very friendly.

There was a mix up about my arrival time and flight. The arranged transport was not there to meet me but another service offered to take me to the hotel and seek reimbursement. It meant an extra 2 hours hanging around the airport. But I called 48 hours before the return to the airport and the transport arrived right on time.

Cheaper than a taxi, but I had to wait at least 30 minutes for the van to be filled with other passenger. Also, the people from the airport are not shy to ask for tip. They will literary ask for money. Very annoying.

Driver left me at wrong hotel on arrival. Had to take taxi to my hotel, which cost me more money.
