A great day out for anyone. Atmosphere and food was great at the bar-b-que.

Unfortunately, it was raining when we did this. Yes, it does rain in the desert, but even so we enjoyed every aspect of this tour. Would recommend.

The camel ride was very short, only about seventy five yards! We also had a slow driver.

A friend of mine who had previously been on this tour recommended it to me highly, and I cannot say I was disappointed. Online reservations were quick and efficient, as was the response from the tour operator when, as requested, I reconfirmed my participation by phone. When I arrived at my hotel, I was greeted by a friendly e-mail from my soon-to-be tour guide, and he arrived punctually at the appointed time and provided a safe and informative tour experience throughout.
The tour was comprehensive, interesting and fun, and provides an excellent introduction to Arab culture for first-time visitors to the area. I especially enjoyed the dune bashing, smoking from a shisha pipe and the generous meal served at the desert camp.
Areas for improvement: First, I think we wasted too much time waiting for the rest of the vehicles in our tour group to assemble before starting out. Second, the otherwise excellent DVD souvenirs of the trip should be better focused; they included, for example, far too many pictures of the group that followed ours and with whom we had next-to-no contact during the actual tour. Third, given the well-deserved Arab reputation for elegant sweets, I was rather disappointed at the very minimal dessert offered at the camp dinner. Overall, an outstanding effort. I joined this tour with my first son and plan to take my second son on the same tour this month or next.
This was a great trip. It was very organized and well planned. We had a welcome pack waiting for us at our hotel on arrival. The food was great, and we had a fun evening. The jeeps were a little tame and stopped to wait for others. They were not as fast as I would have liked.

This was a good experience, but the 4x4 drive was not as wild as I expected from the information given.

I was disappointed to learn that we were in fact not driving deep into the desert but just circling and to end up in a camp just five minutes from the road made it seem like a farce. However the quality of the tour was good, especially when I compared notes with someone from my hotel who went on the same trip but with a different agent. We definitely had the edge. I'm sure the 4 wgeek driving would have seemed exciting for some who had not experienced it, but living in Australia I'd done it all before. It frustrated me that the driving was all about effect and not about going anywhere. In all though I would recommend it to others, though if there was a tour that really did go deep into the desert, perhaps with an overnight stay, then I would do that in preference.

Our driver was excellent and very friendly. The food was very good. Sandboarding proved to be a bit tame for my teenage boys who claimed "the slope was not big enough." We enjoyed camel rides and henna tattoos. It was a good value for money.

This trip is what going to the desert is all about! We had a great time! The driver was very friendly, the camp staff prepared a great meal, and the sand boarding...well, give it a go. I did it a few times. If you do one thing in Dubai, do this trip.

Awesome! Driver came to the hotel to pick me up, great fang around the sand dunes, camel riding, I wasn't too good on the sand-board I need more practice and the Belly Dancer was great, she got the crowd to participate which we all had a great time. Great desert safari experience, I will be recommending this to people who visit Dubai.

I enjoyed the experience, but asking two adults out of a total of five to sit in the back seat was not ideal.

This desert safari was well worth the money, and we can't recommend it enough. The safari itself was amazing, the staff were totally professional, and the views were beautiful. The camel ride was fair, the food was delicious though simple, and the best touch was the belly dancer. She was very good and managed to entertain everyone. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a change from going to the numerous malls in Dubai.
