You will leave the comfort of your hotel and travel across the desert by 4x4 vehicle. The drive takes you to some of the most beautiful sand dunes of the deserts in Dubai.

Upon reaching the dunes, you have the opportunity to experience the exhilaration of the one of the most popular sports in the desert - sandboarding! No trip to Dubai is complete without at least one slide down a sand dune.

Dune Buggy Adventure (Optional):
Explore the vast sand dunes on your very own dune buggy. You must pre-book the dune buggy and it is available on the private tour only, because you need to transfer to another spot in the desert. Be sure to select the correct ride option (30 or 60 minutes) at time of booking.

Cruise Port Pick-up:
A cruise port pick up can be arranged for passengers arriving and departing Dubai. For passengers arriving into PORT RASHID DUBAI CRUISE PORT you must advise the cruise line, ship name, docking and departure details at time of booking. Please allow at least 30 minutes from cruise arrival to disembark and meet the tour guide for your pick up.

Vehicles:
Buses used for excursions are of the highest standard available. All buses are air-conditioned and equipped with a microphone. 4x4 vehicles used for the off-road safaris are air-conditioned with a maximum capacity of 6 passengers plus driver. All drivers are qualified off-road professionals, first-aid trained and carry cell phones. All vehicles are equipped with seat-belts and passengers are required to wear them at all times.

Dress Code:
Lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised, and photo-chromatic lenses for those who wear spectacles. Hats or some protection for the head are advisable when in direct sunlight. The United Arab Emirates has conservative dress traditions. Swimwear should be confined to the beach and hotel pools. Men and women should ensure shoulders and knees are covered when in public, especially in souks, shops and villages.

Photography:
Normal tourist photography is acceptable, but it is considered offensive to photograph Arab women. It is also courteous to ask permission before photographing men. Photographs of government buildings or military installations are not allowed.
