Depart Dubai in the afternoon and take a thrilling sand dune drive to your first destination, the camel farm. The drive continues across the desert where you will witness a beautiful desert sunset. This is one of the highlights of a trip to the Arabian deserts. Prepare to be amazed!

Upon arrival at the campsite, you will have the opportunity to ride a camel, go sandboarding and try out a henna design on your hands or feet. Please note, the afternoon and evening activities at the camp site may be shared with other travelers.

Next, enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner and a shisha (the famous Arabic water pipe). The evening includes a belly dancer performing her show around the campfire by starlight.

Dune Buggy Adventure (Optional):
Explore the vast sand dunes on your very own dune buggy. You must pre-book the dune buggy and it is available on the private tour only, because you need to transfer to another spot in the desert. Be sure to select the correct ride option (30 or 60 minutes) at time of booking.

Hotel pick up is available from all Dubai centrally located hotels and Dubai Port. Please advise your full hotel name and address, or cruise name and arrival date, at time of booking.

Cruise Port Pick-up:
A cruise port pick up can be arranged for passengers arriving and departing Dubai. For passengers arriving into PORT RASHID DUBAI CRUISE PORT you must advise the cruise line, ship name, docking and departure details at time of booking. Please allow at least 30 minutes from cruise arrival to disembark and meet the tour guide for your pick up.

Important Information:

Vehicles:
4x4 vehicles used for the off-road safaris are air-conditioned with a maximum capacity of 6 passengers plus driver. All drivers are qualified off-road professionals, first-aid trained and carry cell phones. All vehicles are equipped with seat-belts and passengers are required to wear them at all times.


Dress Code:
Lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised, and photo-chromatic lenses for those who wear spectacles. Hats or some protection for the head are advisable when in direct sunlight. The United Arab Emirates has conservative dress traditions. Swimwear should be confined to the beach and hotel pools. Men and women should ensure shoulders and knees are covered when in public, especially in souks, shops and villages.


Photography:
Normal tourist photography is acceptable, but it is considered offensive to photograph Arab women. It is also courteous to ask permission before photographing men. Photographs of government buildings or military installations are not allowed.


Conditions:
