This was wonderful, got a better picture and understanding of UAE not just Dubai
This was a great tour away, from the city which was also great value. Lots of different things to see ranging from the desert, the mountains and the sea. For those not keen to swim in the sea the pool was great. Driver and guide were excellent.
It was a fantastic day out. The guide was really brilliant and gave us good information about the area and its people. I would do this again in a heartbeat.
My husband Bill and I did this tour Tuesday 16th June 2015. Our guide, Nimesh was amazing and we learnt so much about life in the various Emirates. If you have a day free in Dubai I would highly recommend this tour. Don't spend all your time shopping this tour will expand your knowledge of this region. We knew there was a lot of development in Abu Dhabi and Dubai but we until we did this tour of the east coast we didn't realise the actual scale of development that is being carried out in other regions too. This tour is also a showcase for seeing some beautiful Islamic architecture in new homes.
Excellent trip, good guide and covered all things listed on route which did not apply on some other tours I took. Nice to get a glimpse outside of the city. Good value for money.
This tour was amazing for both my husband and myself, we would rate this tour very highly on the tourist agenda. Would love to go on another similar tour if possible the next time we visit Dubai.
Great trip- Gets you out of the city and lets you see more of the landscape of UAE. Highly Recommend.
Excellent tour with very knowledgeable guide. Good value for money.
wow! Now, this was amazing... the dessert was so be amazing! I enjoyed getting out of the city...
Our Tour Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly but spent a large amount of time answering questions from a German couple and then answering them in German, omitting to then give his answer in English. Tour content was very interesing and certainly gave us a glimpse of other parts of the UAE.
A really nice trip as far as the boarder of Oman, with a chance to see the oldest mosque in the UAE, a fish market, a long swimming break etc... the guide was very friendly! No rush.
Very interesting itinerary. Guide/driver was excellent, very informative. Didn.t realise how far we were going but worthwhile.
What a great day out. The guide and driver were fantastic and really knew the history of the UAE. The transport was very comfortable and even through we booked a group tour there was just the two of us. Very good value for money and would highly recommend
Amazing - really enjoyed the drive from dubai ,beautiful sights and lunch stopover was great wish could have spend more time in the beach -- definately reccomended
It was a great tour, we have seen a lot, the guide was very nice and told us a lot. I recommend this trip, it is really worth the money.
We really enjoyed the trip. The guide was very imformative. It was nice to see different parts of the country we would recommend and are looking forward to doing another trip when we are over there again in a few months time. Good value for money.
An enjoyable day trip with varied scenery and a very informative tour guide.
This tour enabled us to appreciate another aspect of the UAE. Again well devised, recommended.
I enjoyed this tour. Our driver and tour guide were great, and they gave us plenty of time to see the different sights.
I did this trip with my 18 year old daughter and we both really enjoyed it. There were only 5 people on the tour, as there were not many tourists around -- it was July. The driver and guide were very friendly and informative. There is an awful lot of driving involved, but you get to see the more real side of life in the Emirates. The scenery is dramatic, from desert to mountains and beautiful coastline on the east coast. It was too hot when we were there to stay out in the sun for long, but we did enjoy a swim in the Gulf of Oman!
We had an excellent day out. This was not booked as a private tour, but much to our surprise we were the only people who had booked for that day, so top marks to Orient Tours the local supplier who ran it as a private tour for us at no extra charge. Transport was in a very comfortable air conditioned people carrier with the 2 of us, the driver and the guide. Both staff were excellent and provided a very memorable day for us. A couple of things to note - some other reviews here mention going into Oman. This is no longer possible as the small part of Oman at the tip of the UAE-Oman peninsula now has border-control with UAE -- which is a recent thing -- so the tour can no longer visit the Oman side of Dibba. Also, the Fujairah fort could only be visited externally as renovations have been going on -- apparently for the last couple of years and very slowly! The outside is still well worth seeing. The Friday market we just used as a toilet stop, as at the first few stalls we visited the owners were very pushy, picking things up that we had no interest in and handing them to us. They spoke no English. The other stops and general landscape and things pointed out on the road were all well worth seeing. The lunch restaurant offered a good selection and the food was good. This is a must do if you have a day to spare. We were picked up at 8:30 a.m. and were back in Dubai at about 3:30 p.m. It's a long drive, but there's plenty to see and do so definitely recommended and good value.
This was a great trip. The scenic view along the way were beautiful. I will definitely do this one again when I return. Just wish the shopping portion could have been longer.
Our guide was an amazing source of information. He made the trip fantastic.
