wow! Now, this was amazing... the dessert was so be amazing! I enjoyed getting out of the city...
Our Tour Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly but spent a large amount of time answering questions from a German couple and then answering them in German, omitting to then give his answer in English. Tour content was very interesing and certainly gave us a glimpse of other parts of the UAE.
A really nice trip as far as the boarder of Oman, with a chance to see the oldest mosque in the UAE, a fish market, a long swimming break etc... the guide was very friendly! No rush.
Very interesting itinerary. Guide/driver was excellent, very informative. Didn.t realise how far we were going but worthwhile.
What a great day out. The guide and driver were fantastic and really knew the history of the UAE. The transport was very comfortable and even through we booked a group tour there was just the two of us. Very good value for money and would highly recommend
Amazing - really enjoyed the drive from dubai ,beautiful sights and lunch stopover was great wish could have spend more time in the beach -- definately reccomended
It was a great tour, we have seen a lot, the guide was very nice and told us a lot. I recommend this trip, it is really worth the money.
We really enjoyed the trip. The guide was very imformative. It was nice to see different parts of the country we would recommend and are looking forward to doing another trip when we are over there again in a few months time. Good value for money.
An enjoyable day trip with varied scenery and a very informative tour guide.
This tour enabled us to appreciate another aspect of the UAE. Again well devised, recommended.
I enjoyed this tour. Our driver and tour guide were great, and they gave us plenty of time to see the different sights.
I did this trip with my 18 year old daughter and we both really enjoyed it. There were only 5 people on the tour, as there were not many tourists around -- it was July. The driver and guide were very friendly and informative. There is an awful lot of driving involved, but you get to see the more real side of life in the Emirates. The scenery is dramatic, from desert to mountains and beautiful coastline on the east coast. It was too hot when we were there to stay out in the sun for long, but we did enjoy a swim in the Gulf of Oman!
We had an excellent day out. This was not booked as a private tour, but much to our surprise we were the only people who had booked for that day, so top marks to Orient Tours the local supplier who ran it as a private tour for us at no extra charge. Transport was in a very comfortable air conditioned people carrier with the 2 of us, the driver and the guide. Both staff were excellent and provided a very memorable day for us. A couple of things to note - some other reviews here mention going into Oman. This is no longer possible as the small part of Oman at the tip of the UAE-Oman peninsula now has border-control with UAE -- which is a recent thing -- so the tour can no longer visit the Oman side of Dibba. Also, the Fujairah fort could only be visited externally as renovations have been going on -- apparently for the last couple of years and very slowly! The outside is still well worth seeing. The Friday market we just used as a toilet stop, as at the first few stalls we visited the owners were very pushy, picking things up that we had no interest in and handing them to us. They spoke no English. The other stops and general landscape and things pointed out on the road were all well worth seeing. The lunch restaurant offered a good selection and the food was good. This is a must do if you have a day to spare. We were picked up at 8:30 a.m. and were back in Dubai at about 3:30 p.m. It's a long drive, but there's plenty to see and do so definitely recommended and good value.
