This was a very interesting trip just to see what's the around the area instead of only Dubai. The mountains are huge and not too bad for a 10-minute ride through Oman. All in, a nice drive outside of the city for the day.

To get out of the city and see the desert, the mountains, different Emirates and rain was good. Tour leader was informative, friendly and very interesting. English was excellent.

Out of the other tours, I find this the least memorable as I thought we spent quite a fair bit of time on the road with minimal restroom breaks. The place where we were taken to have lunch was unpleasant but thankfully the company with 2 Canadian ladies made the tour tolerable.

Firstly I didn't like that we were only given one choice of restaurant for lunch, which was overpriced for the average quality food. Secondly there wasn't much to see or do. Also I was given the impression we could go into the fort only to find out when we got there it was closed. It also felt a bit rushed. I found tours taken in Oman were much more enjoyable.

It was a long drive through the desert. The views were spectacular once we reached the East Coast.
