I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to do a detailed sailing of the dubai creek. The dhow takes one on the entire length of the dubai creek close to the dubai marina, right upto the mouth of the creek where it meets the arabian sea. The customer service of the staff is great. The food is very good. The dhow and the toilets are clean. It would definitely be a huge advantage for the company if they would would have live local music or a henna artist on board so that the younger tourists are entertained a little bit more.
Very good dinner and cruise food was very good as was the service
Was cold night and they wanted to put us on top deck. We said no and took at least 15 minutes for them to set up a table when other tables were available. Thus, we were the last to eat and selection was slim. Not enough food for all to eat.
everthing as advertised.punctual pick up.food did not have the choice of a previous dhow dinner cruise i'd taken.enterainment unusual but good.
Pick up at hotel was too early which meant that we sat on the dhow 1,5 hour before departure.
Don't forget a sweater or a jacket. Food was ok.
We were picked-up at our hotel and due to heavy traffic, we were a bit late arriving at the boat. It seemed like the staff welcoming us at the boat was a bit stressed over this fact. On the boat all guests were seated in separate groups. The good thing about that is that those who really wanted their privacy got it. On the other hand, it might have been nice to meet other people as well. The staff on the boat was not looking too happy and the feeling was that they did what they had to do, but a smile would cost you extra. The food was very tasteful, but some of the dishes were out when we were ready to get some and we are really not slow eaters. The view was very nice and it was relaxing floating on the Creek. I think it was a very nice evening, no wow-factor, but nice. I would probably go again just for the atmosphere on the Creek.
Bad weather pushed our flight back so we didn't make it in time for this dinner cruise - I've heard that it is great though so it could be worth doing.
The trip was enjoyable overall but more direction was needed in respect of collecting food from the Buffet. Also we were asked for our drinks order but were not given a Menu or advised of prices so had no idea how much we were spending.
My wife had a fall descending from the top deck after dinner but other than one chef nobody showed any concern
The cruise was to long for dinner with no entertainment to pass the time. While it was hot which was expected the cool air blowers did not work and getting a drink that was cold was impossible
Picked up from our hotel, which was good.
Good meal and service on board.
Worth doing. However, Dubai Creek by night skyline and riverbank are a bit disappointing.
There were also problems with the sound system. Better choice of music would help the atmosphere.
Only scored a three because the food was very nice and a chat with the chef was good. He was helpful talking about the food.
It was interesting going up and down the creek but once you go up there is not much else to see.
My 3 euro glass of white wine was not pleasant and when we got the bill was charged 4euro.
The music was too loud.
The staff started packing up including rubbish bags before we had returned to the dock.
My suggestion, try another company
The food was nice but the spread was limited. The cruise was for 2 hrs. There were no entertainment on the boat and thus it was a little boring after the first hour. Was actually looking forward to going back to the hotel at the end of it.
Food was delicious and overall this is a great experience, however, I would have preferred to sit outside on the upper deck to really take in the scenery but was told that it was booked out for a large group. This was not the case, it was set aside for 4 or more people, not just 2. Couldn't understand why this was the case when they were seating people together on tables inside downstairs as it would be the same upstairs. We were allowed up there after our meal to take photos but you had to stand while there. I would be preferable that it was written somewhere about the restrictions on seating arrangements for outside dining as it would have influenced which tour group I booked with.
Taxi arrived 30minutes early, good job we were ready but the next pick up were not so we had to wait 25 minutes in the car. Boat clean and tidy, we were only offered one soft drink, not unlimited as we were told, we asked for another but it did not arrive. Food average with a fair choice however you had to get your starter and main at the same time on the same plate, and food was not very hot. No entertainment, could hear alittle music from the far end of the boat. Trip was ok but could have been a lot better.
Boat very nice and top deck cooler than it would have been on lower deck. Cruise only goes slowly up and down a couple of miles on creek. Food ok but much of it was not hot enough. Water and soft drinks included but wine about £7 extra for small glass of not very good wine. Cruise lasted about 90 minutes or so. May be worth checking reviews on other similar trips before booking.
Great way to see the old Dubai by water at night - the food was a good variety and the staff met our needs professionally. When are these type of cruises going to implement a tour guide feel as it would make the experience even more enjoyable - tourists want to know what they are looking at and history.
The trip to and from the Hotel to the Dhow boat can only be described as harrowing ..... The Boat itself was pleasant, comfortable and the food very good. The staff were generally attentive although one did complain about how badly they are paid which was a unfortunate downer to an otherwise amazing evening.
We were picked up from our hotel promptly, and our driver was like a guide explaining where we were and the main points of attraction. However, the food was coldand not enough. When we went back for more more than half of the food was not there anymore, and there were no more plates to begin with. I had to take the smaller dessert ones to pick up a few things.
The dessert selection wasn't that great. You could tell from what was left.
One more thing: There was no good scenary. It was in the old section of Dubai where the Gold Souk is
